STEVE, Stop looking at SDRY !
I know for a fact if this drops to 14p Tuesday my finger will be hovering !
Thanks for the tips this morning Mary x,
Added rnk to my watch list and Wood Group. Do you still rate POLB ?
My top two are YU (Thanks Sheltie)
And CVSG (Thanks Gary)
DODGED a bullet at Sdry, more LUCK then judgement.
Mary posted a while back NOT to block posters just because you don't agree with there stand point.
With a few exceptions I havnt, I followed some negative posts that seemed well reasoned, bailed at a small profit which has probably saved me 10k.
NOW pfc is, in my opinion a different beast. STRONG order book vs HUGE debts.
I'm heavy in here, and happily so
After SDRY my posts will be more neutral.
GOOD LUCK ALL
Thanks GUYS
I bailed two days ago at 30.42p, small profit, but hey a PROFIT
And thanks to your posts !
(Popped the lot in YU thanks Sheltie)
SOME amazingly sharp posters on this blog xxxx
Thanks guy's saved me thousands x
SHORTER EXITING
But in a controlled way.
The 1 day price graph is as straight as a line gets.
Defo controlled as best as the controller can, big gains tomorrow today was NOT a stampede and still 13 % !
Very heavy into this share and intend to hold, it owes me big time after all the ups and downs.
Very HAPPY 😊
Sheltie,
Thanks for the post, YES with the benefit of hindsight I have had shares I should of exited with a loss but double downed instead !
Virtually all my profits are from day trading, my LTH shares have performed badly. I can see a sea change coming tho with markets ticking up month after month year after year and my style of trading becoming unnecessary.
LOST for words
I virtually never sell at a loss.
Cleared out JD - OTB and trimmed AAF today so far.
But NOT SDRY - NOT at mid 20s.
Offer pending - NEXT full of optimism - BOE probably about to give time scale on interest rate cuts - FTSE so much behind the DOW ! Correction due ?
GOOD LUCK Toffers - Wish you WELL X
(adding, shhhhh, don't tell anyone)
SM
Thank you for your reply - YES I see and understand your point BUT if the figure calculated by the number crunchers is say 50p I still think a cheeky offer of share price plus 30% will be made 33p.
I still think JD had a fully funded offer ready to go on the last deadline, but it was too low in relation to the 40s share price so NOT made formal.
JD needs to crack on IMO, a competitive bid at these levels is INCREASINGLY possible, GOOD for you and me I think.
Gary
GOOD summary of the posts and SUPERDRY - I agree - I'm invested but only 5% of portfolio half of which is sdry profits anyway !
Wish EVERYONE all the best - NOOB don't bite, Gary is being opinionated in the realm of realism NOT negative!
Rampers have cost me money
DE rampers have too
I use this chat to make decisions all the time and overall the decisions have worked well for me.
THANKS guy's NIGHT all x
MOST if not ALL the shorters must be in profit ?
Personally I'd close and move on, seems to me that PFC is very risky on both sides of the fence but they have the option of closing unless they are all scared of a SHORT SQUEEZE share spike ! and in truth would love to offload.
Boring few day's - A STORM BREWING ME THINKS - happy to be long
GLA
WELL I'm back and I'm in but can't call this one !
Low average gives me options but very nearly 50/50.
60/40 for a offer of 45p - t h e share price being low helps JD and his backers, good value at 45p
Probably WOULD be accepted too !
