There's a hurricane coming, we just dont know how much damage its going to do to the town4 Jan 2021 16:12
Just sold most of my holdings, and i for one am usually very optimistic on here. But for me, the number of infections that will ultimately translate into deaths, coupled to the fact that we are about to go into a full lockdown tells me theres about to be a carnage on the way. I bought Lloyds at 32p when all this was starting to kick off, then they dropped to 23p, i nearly had a breakdown. Thankfully I ignored the doom mongers predicting sup 15p, and what do you know, the vaccine news came up and i got my savings back. I recently sold at 38p so not a bad profit although a bit of a roller coaster. anyway my point is, the current atmosphere nationally reminds me of those days when I bought at 32p, thinking they could not go any lower. Then the bad news/deaths started to pour in. I really hope I'm wrong and will be the first to hold my hand up, but for now i'm our until either the rate of infects has come down or we are well on the way to half the nation being vaccinated.
