G,PM, OIL & URANIUM26 Oct 2013 20:48
in my opinion, this is sure got a long way to go. I said on my first post that good things to happen here, especially with Japan, GingerT suggested no go there, but from my own information Japan will restart most, if not all there plants soon (as posted earlier), as the cost of importing oil into Japan needs addressing, hence the reason why they need to re-start them or they'll go even further behind in terms paying for oil to keep them going. As they say, in the end, it's all about how much things costs, nuclear is indeed more cost effective that the price of oil right now.
Other countries are likewise looking to change their stance on nuclear, becoming more positive in its use, so onwards and upwards. As each country changes its policy/stance on nuclear power, then others will following suit, 'if its ok for them, then its ok for us type of policy' me thinks.
China is on a nuclear station drive build, not only for themselves, but for other countries.
Giuseppe, you mention about Thorium, which I understand is a safer and much cleaner material, if you get my meaning, so one to research as its in the earlier days, so that's the best time to invest no doubt. Let me know if you have any companies worth looking into.
I'm invested here and also in some Canadian Uranium companies, but thus far URA are tops.
