Healthy bout of profit taking after such a week. I expected it to drop steeper in the last hour as positions were closed and profits locked in. Bodes well for next few weeks . More interested in what shareholders do when the dividends arrive in their accounts, do they buy more ? A lot of cash sloshing around and i cannot think of a better place to invest it in than here! It is a special dividend and if your shares are not in an isa then you will have 44.5% deducted automatically.

When the documentation arrives , do not forget to specify payment in GB Sterling, otherwise you will be paid in Euros,which might cause some inconvenience

Excellent post taffnaff..not being the sharpest tool in the box, can i ask someone to confirm my understanding.. i hold shares in isa and outside of isa. the shares in the isa will not be taxed by 33.75% and i will receive the full cash value. the shares outside of isa will be taxed therefore i need to sell before set date and buyback the day after at the reduced value with the advantage of more shares.would really appreciate..
