Anybody out there with any opinions or observations regarding the the continuous drop in the share price. all looked good with the results and the company's strategy and outlook. maybe a case of to much to soon in the rise after the dividend. really haven't a scooby do .

Gala bingo had a promotion on a sunday night this month. unfortunately about 1189 players were told they had won a share of £ 1,600,000

unfortunately 1189 players were playing a special bingo promotion and won the jackpot. they were awarded a share of £1,600,000 and the monies put in their accounts.. they were told it was a glitch and monies taken out if not already spent. the jackpot was £150 but it,s kicking off on facebook .

fortunately the t and c clearly cover gala but they are not happy at £20 compensation. gala obviously not happy with playtech. the best part is it was a 1penny a ticket and thought you could win £1.6M DEFINATELY not a good look

FORGOT TO MENTION, Their online presence is still the 888 platform and something called Mr.Green .back in the day ,this went from 50p to near £8 in a heartbeat and gave special divi's. Two Israeli brothers started the business from Tel Aviv and eventually hubris took over and the rest is history

Befre you take a leap at Evoke,be carefull. Debt £1.7 BILLION!!!!!!. Went bust when they stupidly bought all W.Hill shops from Ceasers. and still own them when Evoke took over from 888. Playtech made a bid of£1.56 but fortunately they knocked it back. The two brothers who started 888 were billioners till they got greedy,and lost it . I use to dip into 888 when they went down to£4 and sell at £5.I pray that Playtech don't try again. The shops are going to be refurbished in selected areas but the shop concept is dead alongside the dodo.DYOR

Millions of share purchases declared after close of trading. Could something be afoot?

Can anybody reading this explain or have an opinion on what has happened. total shares bought today = 10,373,198 no. total shares sold today = 159,009no. Result = shares up 5 pence. BONKERS !!!!!!!!

Nt22 the 326,159 buy was a u/t trade. i confess i still do not fully understand it ,but it,s matching trades and already in todays price. . still, fingers crossed that it goes up cos went all in today and my pension is literally up to playtech whether they do well or not,as to whether i,m solvent or not

If you go thro the posts you will be made aware that £1.5Billion in cash is heading it,s way into the shareholders accounts after a sale of it,s italian arm.This on the 12th of this month. Like myself i would guess significant proportion will be reinvested here. This stock is undervalued i think more than most as it is a growth stock with enormous potential and very much on the radar of many a company in the gambling sector as a potential takeover target. Methinks you made a shrewd move catching this at this price. NB. if you look at director purchases, you will find two large buys a couple of weeks ago.I have been building up my stake since it was dropped by Ceaser,s when they bought out W.Hill and used their own software.

Clearly, myself included ,we are waiting for the 12th to buy in. Just be careful and not get caught by those greedy marketmakers and get stung by the spread. A hidden cost in the moment that can bite ya in the bum

Today, 764,630 shares bought and 116,630 sold. Anybody explain why shares down 8 pence?

Happy to be proved wrong and we get some money for it .Case in point when 888 bought w.hill shops for 1.5billion from ceasers and they couldn,t believe it. stock price of 888 went from £8 to 50p as of today. company now renamed Evoke. Last year playtec offered £1.56 a share for Evoke and they turned them down ,THANK GOD.We wouldn,t be looking at a special divi if they had accepted. go to their site and read their postings, lesson when managements ego,s cloud good decisions. evoke company value=£22m. debt £1.7 Billion.Playtech were prepared to take it on.

Happybet will go for peanuts ,they lost 11.8million last year and still losing. .the sooner the better. could go for a nominal £1. ? Split 300m times , it won,t be a big divi.

Just a theory, but we had a consortium from Hong Kong buy a blocking vote of 25% to stop the takeover. They may have decided to take profits .Thats a lot of an overhang? Sub 75million shares in total .Not suggesting all may have cashed in but it's a lot of shares. When the divi,s arrive i think many like myself will reinvest back into playtec. NOW THAT,S A LOT OF CASH

Anybody know how and when to do paperwork to receive dividends in GBP as against default EURO,s if not completed, as i understand it

Fair point in the short term. look at the opportunity now as against 12 to 24 months down the line which any competent ceo should be assessing. just look at cnn now and the shxtshow thats unravelling.the man is deranged and the lemmings are doing his bidding without question
