But absolutely No. I am very grateful for the 115% rise in a matter of weeks following the consolidation.
It was a blinder of a lift.
And then we all expected another significant rise with this vaccine news did we not?
And nuffink happened!
It's like a sneeze that evaporates before it lets loose.
I went from 71% under my investment to 14% under in 3-4 weeks.
I'm still trying to comprehend the puzzling movement or none of this SP!
I sit back, cause I know nothing of the deeper figures, and read with great interest what all you knowledgeable guys are saying.
I expected a lot more but probably too much eh.
24 times I've bought over the last year and a half and EVERY time the SP went DOWN. I've not chickened out!
I'm here for the next 1-2 years, so long as I dont kick the bucket! LOL
It's on the up and I couldnt be happier.

Well there goes another week of great uplifting SAGA V CoVid news.
The vaccine, confirmation of cruise bookings going throught the roof, a light at the end of the tunnel etc etc.
And still the share price drags its sorry ass and languishes just below £3.
Dismayed and disappointed. Gawd it's tough trying to be optimistic.
Think I'll go outside into the icy drizzel in my slippers and string vest, jump off the nearest kerb and kick an empty tin can down the dark street.
OR.....
I could sit in with my feet up toasting against a log fire, a glass of red, g&t or hot whiskey and watch the final of IACGMOOH!
Then read though the Saga cruise mag and wait for the bleedin SP to shoot up where it should flippin well be!

Hi Pokerchips,
Just received confirmation in the post this morning re Open Offer applied for in mid Sept.
It was refused, Due to cheque inncorrectly filled in apparently, although for the life of me I cant see what that was!
No matter, not that bothered really.
Three days ago I bought a few more, wasnt going to wait any longer.
Trying to buy more now but system isn't allowing me! Grrrr!
Maybe buy more at the lower rate for the same amount of dosh!
Maybe blocking me till it reaches #**!## £1.80 again. Grrrr!
Its been a right 'ol struggle to bring my average down, but as you say, hold on a while for it to lift.
Hopefully an express lift! LOL

I rang early this morning and amazingly got through quite promptly.
My O.O. request is being investigated and I should expect a call from someone, sometime this week. Hmmmm.
The delay is probably due to the vast amount of ongoing administration.
I sure as hell would like to know of course and the sooner the better obviously.
As soon as I find out one way or t'other I'll know how many more I can cadge, if I can, in time!
The SP is ridikimilous.

I sent off, like a lot of people did at the time, for a batch.
Shortly after I bought some more in the normal way outside of the 'Open Offer' route, because they were now cheaper!, and finished off with an additional 15 shares (cheaper again!)
These have registered in my total holding but not the Open Offer amount. Grrrrr!!!

If I get some info and enlightenment on this I'll let you know.

How long does it take SAGA & Co. to cash in my request for a batch of pre- consolidation shares?
Form, crossed cheque and registered post well in time for deadline date.

But nothing out of my account ...YET!
My grand total of shares -:-15 hasnt appeared in my holding list neither!

Anyone else still in limbo land?

Yes indeed.
But isnt the tub already 20 years old?
In another 20 yrs it'll be 40 years old. A rust bucket.
It'll need complete refurbishment & fit-out at great expense on top of what he's already paid and to bring it up to todays requirements. As fully CoVid proof as one can.
What about the engines? Environmental pressure is mounting to make these virtually non-pollutant.
Zero sulphur etc. Massive scrubbers.
But it's interesting to note that someone else thinks that small to middle sized ships is the way to go with cruising.
Ie: SAGA has got it right...and were ready! Now.

This must be the last chance, today, to buy any shares at less than 11p. 11p!!!!! Before the consolidation.
It has been a nerve wracking experience since a year and a half ago when I bought my first 'tranch' at 50p and watch it dip and dive to this level. And to tackle a lot of unexpected mathematical gymnastics to boot!
I was at the the IPO with a meger £1600 investment but 2 years later sold the lot and made a £400 profit when it was at £2.00 a share. Ahh, those were the days......
And now? I've bought in stages throughout only to see it drop again and again and again. Quite chilling.
But I've kept faith in SAGA. Gawd knows why. There's just something about it. To hell and back with CoVid.
I want to thank all you people on this chat forum.

So for a laugh I bought my final FIFTEEN SHARES so I could have my total holding ending in a ONE when it converts next week! LOL

It's awful. There's a lot of negativity here. And it's not good.
You need to be more positive.
Look at Trump. He's positive and it's cheered me up no end!
I hope he stays positive for as long as possible so that we can feel good too.
