Where am I..? The last time I looked I was quite tall for my height.
6' and 230 lbs @ 69+three quarters years.
So I've sneaked into the 'more than I should be' bracket.
I have been instructed by my angel specialist nurse , 12 yrs my junior, that I'd better get my *ss moving to remove that excess tractor tyre waist.
Currently programmed to travel up and down the 13 floors emergency staircase every day, walk 10,000 steps if poss and various excecises including dumbbells.
I also try and chase my 7 year old grandson on his new bike around the car park.

I'm bl**dy whacked out mate!
Wont make cruise this year but hopefully next, If I'm still alive! LOL LOL

It wouldnt bother me at all not to get off on shore, what with cruise ships these days having lots of everything on board.
Beautiful coastline gliding by and a decent camera.
Its not going to be this way for ever.
My only other experience on a 'cruise ship' was when I was four and a half/5 yrs old.
My dad was posted in the army in Cyprus and I lived there with me mum and new born sister for a couple of years.
We left in circa 1956 on a troop ship for home.
I remember the wooden deck, rolling seas and the dinner gong of all things! Aaaaah, the dinner gong....LOL
And yet I can barely remember wot I did yesterday.
A £10+ SAGA share will get me on board! Cant wait!

Marella Cruises has cancelled all European sailings up to March 31 and all long-haul sailings until April 30 2021 due to the ongoing pandemic.

This follows the news that Fred Olsen has also further delayed the restart of its cruise programme from April 23 to May 22. This is the date its new ship, Borealis, will set sail to Iceland from Liverpool. The Bolette will sail from Dover on May 29, followed by Balmoral from Edinburgh on June 9.

Carnival Cruise Lines has also confirmed further cancellations.

Marella said the following cruises are cancelled:

Explorer sailings from Tenerife and Las Palmas from February 3 up to and including March 31
Explorer 2 sailings from Barbados from February 3 up to and including April 30
Discovery sailings from Malaga on 3 February and from Montego Bay, Jamaica up to and including April 30
Discovery 2 sailings from Paphos from March 23 up to and including March 31
Marella Cruises said it is contacting all customers whose bookings are affected.

Royal Caribbean International has also suspended cruises until April 30 while Celebrity Cruises has cancelled cruises until April 30 as well as its May 1 transatlantic cruise on Celebrity Apex.

Silversea Cruises has suspended operations until April 1 and Azamara until April 30. "

The first part of my alias sounds like my christian name, followed by the bird of prey.
Back in 1994 ish the office got its first AutoCad station and I tried to find a website that specialised in CAD talk.
At the start the only one I found was heavily American centered, hence the eagle. Shortly after I found a much superior one which was UK based (thank gawd & metric!) that had a large global appeal as well. So I just kept it.
Much better than Steaminduck, Steaminwren, Steaminalbatross or Steamindodo! LOL

I think your suggestion of a 'Saga Investor Cruise' is a seriously inspired idea, but for me it will all depend on how well our shares do here!
Also, it must be 4-5 weeks ago you mentioned in passing, another company which could be of interest to invest in, so out of curiosity I went there to its website and also the chat room on LSE to DYOR! That was PHE.
Bludy 'ell thats an interesting subject! Plastic! It looks rather promising and I've chucked a few quid in and like here it's fingers crossed! Saga is circa 2 years to hold. PHE looks more like 5 years to hold.

Did the actual share price ‘value’ go up by 99,900% or was there more to it than that?
Ie: A total recalibration of both share price V shares.
The only other recent consolidation I’ve experienced of was with SAGA, being a shareholder there, but everything more or less balanced itself out. Nobody gained or lossed except for the dilution and beyond that I have little understanding!
I just thought the % rise was eye watering! LOL

I doubt if any political party could or would have done better regardless of the circumstances.

I am here because of a gentle suggestion to all by a guy on the SAGA chat board a few weeks ago and out of curiosity I had a look at the PHE site.

I took the plunge this morning and bought a few shares, not many by your standards, but it's a start.
I got in just a snidge below 10p. I did'nt expect that and am well pleased.
All being well and circumstances I hope to grab some more in three weeks time.
But I dont think I'll get 10p. More like 15-20p. :( But better in than out. (Said the duke to the duchess)
If youre not in, you cant win. And I like this phrase said by one of you..... Hold for Gold.

As I said before, I'm a total newbie, so I'll just sit on the sidelines and listen to you very knowledgeable dudes.

This PHE is quite interesting!

I dont know enough to make any worthwhile info contribution,
but I have really appreciated all that you guys put up on this board over the last month or two.
It has both been enlightening and encouraging that at last SAGA is on the UP.
No point in me making predictions, but if it gets to £10 by this time next year I'll be very well pleased.
If it gets to £15 sometime in 2022 I'll be over the moon.
