If I was a major pharma I would be investing in their foresight and allowing them to keep doing what they do. And do very well.
Hence where we are.
But the new Sierra Trademark update was interesting. Then how many millions follows from AZ?

".....announces that the US Patent and Trademark Office has issued a notice of Allowance for a Patent in respect of an INVENTION associated with Sareums proprietary SDC 1802(TYK2/JAK1 Kinase inhibitor programme(the "SDC 1802 Programme)"
'The company expects the Patent will be granted within 3 months, subject to certain formalities being completed".

TM commented
"it is encouraging to note from Sierras investor call that , while it has made no further development of SRA737, it sees further potential for this novel agent following the addition of this novel agent following the addition of AZD5153 into its pipeline. We remain optimistic Sierra will find a solution to advance development of the SR737 programme in the future ".
Am I alone in joining certain dots including inventions, timelines (October I think), Patent upgrades, 'certain formalities' yes make of that what you will but dd (hugely legally required)by AZ is my reckoning on Sareums ipr with confidentiality agreements due to a back door Sierra link requirement that would have been noticed if a direct approach.

One thing I'm certain of is that AZ would have undertaken full due diligence on Sierra Oncology and its partnerships.
I'm not just talking at a primary level such as if their bank accounts has shifty deposits.
I'm talking secondary and tertiary level.
Pound to a penny they will have gone right through Sareums ipr and programmes.
Sierras newly appointed Kowalski was mentioned in our I believe May Update RNS re 737 and pipeline progression.
Sometimes the best way of saying something without creating a tsunami is to disguise it as a third party dealing blah de blah....
Personally I think this is massive. Been lots of speculation about big pharmas maybe having Sareum in their thoughts....here it is

Thank you Afham. Just making a point re how our CEO is a decent CEO akin with the board. I suspect from his RNSs I see a demeanor that is very different from other CEOs.
Very astute and clever in a long term plan. Which I see unfolding.
What I call a very decent individual. Few and far between.

I ended up at a boarding school as my mum met a chap but better off (great individual, when he passed he got local philanthropist who helped local projects front page of local paper.)The same front page was the local community school got top grades and the other joint headline was simply the best. For the record my stepfather played stb by Tina Turner every occasion he could he would play it at full blast with great locals and Friends at great parties. Great days.
Trust me a single parent child whose mother was told at the hospital it was probably best for me to be fostered given the year and her age of 18 and single and living on a council estate (for the record the estate was real people and I loved it) the transition to boarding school was a bit of a struggle.
But I met some very clever and genuine individuals there. Trust me top top job they are in and given private grants for research in their own time. But the type who would not let their obvious intellect be advantageous to others for inappropriate gain.

Afham further to our discussion points earlier and my bringing up the lupus type scenarios re 1802 Which I greatly appreciate yours and SOGs input earlier and knowledge and input.
Doing a bit of digging on your rather amazing find re il-6 and the WHO request for companies to apply their findings.

My mind was going overtime on the whole cytokine storms scenario and 1802......your find re il 6 was a master stroke and the timeline.
It all dovetails also why like zylo said no dismissing from above and shares being held.

SOG. Following on re the lupus question I raised and being helpfully pointed to July 2020 RNS and which I believe (I think) that it then became known as 1802.
Last night the link to TM video interview was heavily based on 1801 ( note the grin he had....)
and 1802 would tick along (which I believe is a slightly tweaked 1801), all the noise I'm hearing is concerns of lupus like symptoms.......
Then we have end of July RNS upgrading 1802 patent for its lupus like treatment abilities

I have just had a small top up as I have some shares already here and just felt good to reduce the average abit. The buy price was just below 6.1p.
I am speculating that the money raised at Sareum will go somewhere. I'm banking on some coming here as I've mentioned before.
Previous relationships makes for a better understanding if my gut is right at sareum and a speed up in trials. Yes I'm invested in Sareum for the record. I don't want to come across as cross ramping. it's that I think the two companies dovetail.
With just 97m shares and the volumes traded as buys makes me think fill orders are opened and closing by dropping the price (very noteable)to shake some investors here.

Anyone here found that if something is mentioned on a board within a discussion thread that actually nails a point that the board have to release a RNS otherwise it might be deemed insider information?

SOG as I mentioned before I'm possibly being a bit more cryptic in what I write on here from now on. But like I say I read some interesting comments re lupus very recently and how symptoms might be 'similar' to possible adverse reactions from something else.
