The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Just checking in for first time since selling out to see the mood. Not great. I sold put at 3.85p on the dead cat bounce. Probably a 50% loss or thereabouts. Main reason i was in NFX was because i thought DG was a sound bloke. He was co-founder and had skin in the game. Wasnt going to post anything as im not in NFX but seeing the comments I am doing. We all lose from time to time. Not every investment is a winner. We have to accept that. I have over exposed myself on a few occasions and it's gone wrong. Not going to do that again unless i have 100% conviction and a set price target.I hope there are very few of you who are over exposed. Please note Im not here to de-ramp with a view to getting in lower. I would only consider buying back in on an actual contract being delivered and not with the Chinese. I am not going to suggest to anyone that they should sell but it's just not worth it if youre having sleepless nights. I always try to ask myself now am i in this stock in hope or expectation. I was coming to the conclusion even before the announcement that it was the former and therefore it was an easy decision to cut and run. There are plenty of good stocks out there. If you are sitting on a loss it doesnt matter whether you recover that loss in NFX or in another stock. If you do all stick it out i hope you do get that monster RNS. It wont be the first time ive missed out on one but remember health is the greatest wealth.
Surprising to see sp down this morning after the poddy with Doc but will be holding. CF does deliver. Hes done so time and again unlike so many on AIM eg NFX. Put in his own money. £2.5 mill, subject to the 3 year lock in. Not options. Not stock in lieu of salary. Likes of VRS, UKOG etc etc etc take note. Agree with Ironman re what CF said re possible value of Immutex. But quite frankly even if it only sold for £100 mill thats effectively a bagger from here minimum. If investors want to go off chasing 10 baggers and then losing 50% or more, that's their look out
Just checked in. Been busy all afternoon. I have a large holding here. What's the thinking re the director sales?
...and expect the same here
Been accumulating these since last year. Made a bundle on Orph and have gone and expect the same here
Brent has reversed its decline from yesterday. Up 1.8% now. With the news yesterday should break that 3p barrier tomorrow.
I was watching level 2 on and off this afternoon and seeing all the delayed sells popping up. Shouldnt be allowed. But the after hours buy is promising. Glad i topped up at sp less than that buy this morning ..
Two purchases of 2,625,000 shares after hours and then another of 600,000 shares!! Only going one way once the placing shares are sold
Hhhhm. I heard a rumour it could be Acacia. Just so you know, you heard it here first
Thanks, but Im out now. 50% loss but ive made decent profit here before. Overall made small profit. Not happy but hey ho. Will see where the mc is after consolidation. What swung it for me is that LR would not give even a rough indication in the recent vid as to when the next mets results come out. So before consolidation or after? LR either doesnt know or wont say.
They are in my isa with interactive investor. Showing my lack of insight here, but what is the significance?
Think i read on here over last few days that LR recently said that there would be no further placing. Is that right? Did he say that?
Value of my holding now approx £900. If i dont buy more to take value over £1k prior to consolidation, what then happens to my holding? First time in a stock where it's been consolidated so unsure. Will it be automatically sold at the closing price immediately before consolidation?
Once the placing shares are sold, this is going to pop. Feels like a coiled spring, peeps taking positions including me.
5 mins earlier did a dummy buy and no quote ...!
Yeah, but now i did a dummy sell and no quote..
Feeling for you holders. Absolute disgrace. Not heard great things about BPC. And after all the upbeat RNSes re saffron and so on. Just beggars belief. Was it in sept last year that the bod said they were reducing or no longer taking stock as salary. Funny that. I was in lgo and later cerp for 3 years up until mid feb and sold before the crash at a loss. Was wondering whether to get back in. I thought LK was straight up. Cant trust any of these sods. Got shafted on PPC recently. Effing placing to pay off loan to Levine. Coming back to CERP, you might actually find that as, it seems, we are going into a downturn the deal might not make sense if BPC's SP gets hammered. Problem is ofc we now know LK cant be arsed. So much for that 21p forecast.
275,000 sold at 2p. Still placee sellers here. Need some news to get volume up so the last can get out and sp motor
Does anyone have a link to a recording of the webinar yesterday?
Two more late trades:-
4.46pm 2.9p 4,300,000 shares
5.05pm 2.875p 2,892,000 shares
Showing as buys. Anyone think they are indeed buys?
