anyone know why T Rowe invested in THG just to sell it back down - even now they continue to reduce each day. they operate like a PI

Rock/ Prox - am I reading the RNSs right when it seems most of the II are increasing shorts (as purchases) and reducing long positions (seems the ones today are showing this)? hope I am wrong as is clearly bad news at circa 131

Prox - what do you make of the latest morgan stanley RNS (on behalf of kings street) - the purchases are mainly increasing shorts (circ 1.4m)!!

Holy - I would even extend it further and I could see a JV between boots and ingenituity for their online offering - a bit like M&S and Ocado??
do we know if boots own their stores freeholds or rent them? reason i ask is that land is high value

Brilliant - feel sorry for City Spy. He seems a good bloke. the rest are lunes and c units

this share has no buying support and still high levels of shorting (barclays + maybank alone is 3%+ shares shorted)
they need to accept an offer. anything beginning with a 2 and delists

surely we will get a blue day, after 11 red days and -20% drop in a row...thats really not asking for too much, is it/\?

the SP has dropped almost 30p / 17% in 2 weeks. clearly the market believes there will be no bid and THG will make a pigs ear of the AGM tomorrow.
I honestly hope we get a RNS end of business today confirming a Bid and AGM is well managed

agreed - looking at the now 10 days in a row of red, its clearly very concerning. coupled with more poor IR comms like the RNS last night. and this drop is on super low volume. imagine what will happen on high volume (ref capital markets day)
if there is no bid, they have to update on 1/ separation, 2/ softbank option, 3/ comprehensive plan to recover shareholder value

agreed Prox - the problem is that governance and grey areas are not a one off for THG but a regular occurrence
I am so grateful Lord Allen has joined to sort out this mess, as I agree with you, it is a good, solid company and the SP is a joke vs current and future value
I still believe that the SP will not recover in the public market given how easy it is to short....unless there is somethign material such as seperation/ softbank option/ take over off one part of the business / new investors buying in (last one was T Rowe and they are selling down fast)

The IR team is simply the worst - I am still waiting for the log on details for the AGM. Amazingly they seem to be getting worse and wore at their job

agree with the point on TED, which I guess also explains why ASC is absolutely tanking (and to a lesser extent BOO)

hopefully we get a credible TO bid from a credible party - I get the impression the market is bored to death of this company now. and if no bids are received, they will short the hell out of it until the board share their value creation strategy.

Hey Rock, do you feel today is a shake or just market has lost interest in buy out rumours and we are tracking again inline with crappy fast fashion companies like BOO and ACS? reason I ask is that it feels very different to thr tree shakes of 2 weeks back, and there is no upward momentum (6 days of red in a row/ -20p svs 2 weeks ago etc)

agreed Prox - the exception is Lord Allen, who cant buy, as we have been in closed period or under potential offer since he joined + I am very pro him so have 100% voted to re-elect (and also I think he will purge us anyway of the directors who couldnt be borthered to buy or that Zila lady who sold a wedge)

thats what I thought, hence why I have voted not to re-elect him - theres no point; especially as autostore only refer to THG as a customer (not partner) in their RNS updates
TBH I am voting against any director that does not own shares, or who has reduced (so basically them all except the 2 guys with decent holdings and MM and JG)

is Andreas still at softbank? if not seems no need for him?
