Kaeren. ShaunP's last but one 'savage' post was the biggest surprise to me. He actually showed some emotion and here's me thinking he was an officer and a gentleman :) As Jimmy Greaves used to say, 'It's a funny old game!'”
What did he say in his last posts? What was savage? Can’t seem to find any now
So is the £100mil FY forecast excluding ALL dhsc revenue and not just the 40.8mil that is in dispute? If so then I think there’s scope here for a big upgrade even if we don’t see any of the 40mil. That’s excluding any increase in private testing sales.
Also a quick check on that website originally linked:

Hmm
Hold4results, re valved masks: I believe the exhaust valves on ffp2 masks have no filtration of outgoing air so offer no protection to others if you happen to be infected and exhaling virus. So if you have a valved ffp2 better to cover it with a fabric mask.
Speaking of other affirmer news, I wonder if they are investigating an interleukin-6 receptor binding affirmer? One that blocks IL-6 receptor activity? Tocilizumab which is a monoclonal antibody that has this action is proven to reduce covid mortality, so this seems like a promising avenue to develop a therapeutic for covid and possibly severe viral pneumonitis causing ARDS in general. Or perhaps too many plates for AS to spin?
That lab is doing full sequencing- reading the whole 30,000 base genome of the virus to identify variations- ie new mutations. They’re not simply diagnostic machines like we make. They won’t use primer design test kits either. Diagnosis just needs to identify a small unique sequence of virus rna, it doesn’t need to read the whole virus rna (the whole genome).
