Thehboys, the reason I post negativity is for members of the public who occasionally read this forum to get insights. The BoDs cannot defend themselves without RNSs and interviews. I'm trying to level the playing field from unfair unfounded criticism and fake news.

It really amazes me how a handful of people can get away with constantly spouting negative posts about a company, its board and its potential, repeatedly almost hourly while feeding off each other’s posts. They have one objective disguised as discontent for the BPC/CERP merger: To talk the share price down. Most of these regular posters unlikely have any shares in the company and are not doing this exercise out of concern for fellow human beings, but out of alleged greed. Why else would they spend all day doing so? Don’t they have something more productive to do? For example, they keep replying to the thread 1'.8p next stop' to highlight their wish for shorting. This is shameful.

The SP appears relatively stable today and creeping up (at the time I write this post). Possibly in anticipation of Eytan Uliel’s Proactive presentation at 6pm tomorrow in case news emerges or current news is clarified. I really hope justice will be served to these folks when the SP moves the other way they hoped. Karma.

Fact 1: Leo's interview made clear the merger would allow for CERP shareholders to make a decision to sell or keep BPC shares after the merger. He didn't qualify this by stating.........' and of course, the price we used was total BS. It will likely be around 1.8p'
Fact 2: a merger price as reflected in the SP, when unanimously agreed by two BoDs who believe a merger is a great idea, do so with the belief the share price will increase.

I don't mind our little 'fun' skirmishes, but I object to being accused of dishonest posting

Irene, the assumption of the BoDs was that the SP would be around the CERP (c2.6p) and BPC valuation (c3.3p) pre-merger, otherwise they would not have valued the companies as such, with the help of their advisors, in the prospectus. However, independent experts predicted a much higher pre-spud price which was 8p before they knew of the merger and the share dilution with CERP. We await further expert opinions on pre-spud price taking into account CERP assets. Please refer to proactive presentations in my previous posts.

Kindly explain why you think the merger is a bad thing. I do not think you ever have.

PTMS, You are technically right (as at pre-market opening price today) but not right in the overall picture. The value of each CERP share will be 80.3% of a BPC one. Today both SPs are artificially low. It is assumed by both BoDs and there advisors (and many on this BB) the BPC price will (a) substantially increase after both votes end of July and (b) very much increase as BPC heads to a spud date. Existing CERP holders will benefit from this and can sell at anytime during this period.

There are 2,483,776,085 BPC shares currently in play. Of those only approximately 39 million have been traded over 6 days since the SP began to drift downwards on 7/7. (Source https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/BPC.L/history?p=BPC.L). This represents just 1.5% of all BPC shares and as such not a panic sell off, and likely caused by:
1. Auto stop/losses by day traders.
2. Some BPC LTH holders selling BPC and buying CERP for arbitrage reasons. At least two forum members have publicly stated they have done so.
3. Investors spooked by the handful of persons bombarding this forum with negative posts, some of which are fake news or misleading. I believe some (but not all) have had a Baldrick type ‘cunning plan’ is to drive the share price down, so they can make money off others.

39 million shares is nothing in the overall picture because subject to a positive RNS or confirmation of the merger in a few days, those sitting on the side-lines including potentially new institutional investors will want to buy as the potential of a middle eastern oil field ROI will be very tempting.

By pure synchronicity Blackadder cunningly appears to be predicting the BPC share price when the above happens. Very spooky. 'BPC undertook a successful global search for data which at today’s dollars would be > US$500M to acquire.
Search and acquisition of original seismic data, well logs and chance finds of the original well cores took 4 years and cost
over $4 million'.

May I respectfully suggest you have probably posted on the wrong forum. We deal with stocks and shares and how in a couple of weeks after the BPC/CERP merger happens, the combined organisation will eventually take over the world.
