1. NEVER address a professional de-ramper directly. He or she get's power from this and regurgitates the opinions. This also applies if they are shorting a stock for personal gain (IreneK is an exception)
2. Honourably attack other BBs he or she is on and explain what the de-ramper is doing on our forum, as they will be next and need warnings.

Forums such as these should be regulated.

Point to ponder: on 26/9/14 less than 6 years ago, CERP's predecessor hit 116p a share. Admittedly PoO was c$90/b, but why can't BPC hit £1 a share with a PROVEN massive find within 12 months of me posting this today?

This is not a prophecy, the Turin shroud or a Eureka light bulb moment......it is just a thought. However I firmly believe, in all good faith as a LTH, NOT a day trader and who cares if the SP is 2p or 4p....................based on the amazing potential, the BPC SP is way way under-priced. That's just my opinion. DYOR.

Normally brokers execute shares on a T2 which takes 2 days to clear. As I read it last trade would be 4th Aug as switch off and transfer is on 6/8.

Be careful if selling CERP shares prior to merger next week. After the MMs get their percentage you may be better off waiting for conversion assuming BPC mid-price at least 2.5p.

In the 7 weeks since the 11/6 merger announcement and after c4000 posts on the BPC BB alone passionately debating the matter, the overwhelming majority voted in favour. I firmly believe the merger was a visionary move to acquire CERP at a good price due to Cov-19 and PoO. Let’s not forget CERP in its own right 10 months ago was at 5.1p (market cap c£50m). BPC is no longer a one trick pony. Between now and the Persv-1 spud result, news-flow will very likely positively affect the SP, 25% from CERP’s assets news and 75% BPC’s.

1. Legacy licensing issues resolved with Bahamas Government
2. Bahamas Government has accepted the Covid-19 pandemic constitutes a Force Majeure event and latest drilling date extended from 31/12/2020 until [at least] ??/??/2021]
3. Bahamas Government has accept the few Environmental Approval issues outstanding and has fully signed off the spud for Perseverance-1.
4. Merger pre-reqs: Heritage Petroleum Company Limited and Staatsolie Suriname consent to the merger without exercising certain rights or objecting. [Refer to appendix 1 of merger prospectus RNS 11/6/20]

Irene, Rhodi's opinion at 5p by XMAS 2020 is not far fetched. Based on expert opinion from Feb which has already been shared with this forum, SP projections in Feb 2020 heading to spud was estimated as potentially 8p. That was when Poo was c$50/b and before the CERP merger.

I note you likely complained about my 'toenail' post this morning and got it removed. I thought you had more of a sense of humor, but apparently not. BTW, I never mean to cause personal offence with our light humoured skirmishes.

We are not the decision makers on this matter. If you are directly or indirectly acting on behalf of PRD senior management to lobby for this transaction, it may be more productive you write to the companies direct. Their contact details can be found on the CERP and BPC websites. If I had my way, based on the timing of the PRD RNS allegedly meant to create controversy, I would decline the PRD offer on principle, risk it would never produce another drop of oil revenue, and turn the area into a cactus garden rather than sell it to PRD. However I am not on the BoD of either CERP or BPC so cannot make that decision.

I also remind you of your post on the PRD BB on 3/3/20 20:43 entitled ‘ignore the trolls’. I am not quite suggestion you are trolling us, however you are cluttering up our BB with what is currently in my opinion a trivial matter (for CERP/BPC) in the overall picture, although it appears to be important to you and PRD.

Rossannan: Your points are very valid and have been discussed at length on both forums since June 11. Many CERP shareholders eventually saw the potential and have stated they will go with the merger and sell as BPC goes to spud as the SP is likely to be far higher than CERP's ever would have been in the next +/- 6 months.

Others including me are happy with the 1 in 3 mega gamble that BPC will hit gold and the 2.5p current price will soar to 20-40p. In my opinion because of the CERP merger, if BPC spud is inconclusive, using an even worse scenario that no good news flow is generated from CERP assets this year, BPC gets another chance to succeed. I see it like gambling on the row of a casino roulette wheel. But instead of losing the bet in full or winning x3, we can win x10-15 with a free bet on the house (because of CERP) if the 1st bet is partially lost.

Only you can make the decision based on your investment risk criteria. About to go out with my better half.
