Yes agree nice rise today and hopefully with this latest upward spike more to come and maybe go above the recent highs of july
I too entered at 4-5p and have averaged down once. We've been here before with the hype but hoping this is the springboard to a big rise. The idea is great and the fact it helps the ill is even better. Hopefully MXC will become a leader in its field.
Hollyroller, given that the shareholder group have stated they want an independent Chairman, what's your case for keeping the current Chairman? Others have mentioned the drilling, but surely a Chairman has nothing to do with the day-to-day operational running of a company?
Shareholder group have been explicit about installing an independent Chairman. Two NEDs leaving in the space of a month doesn't look good, let alone the long-term share price performance. With regards to 'taking heed', won't it actually just be more of the same? At least a new and independent Chairman would freshen things up?
Is anyone else taking part in the Vox Q&A? Seems like a good opportunity to question management whether you're onside or not. Magicpuppy and others have raised some good points.
Workover, doesn't ultimate responsibility rest with the Chairman?
I think a lot of the problem is that the board keep issuing shares without specific approval and that cant be good to the smaller investor or the company in general. I imagine the CEO and CFO could be at fault here and not looking after my interest as well as they should
I sold yesterday at 55% profit. It was a no brainer to buy once the company was given an extension to solve its financial problems. However I sold yesterday because the extension is only until 31st of this month and if The Brazilian Covid or anything new delays release from lockdown then CARD could have serious problems. Im happy with my profit and always try and sell where there is a market where others want to buy or i would get stuck with loads of nothing. Good luck to all those that hold as im sure there is more profit here so long as retail opens up quickly. Im not a deramper or gutted i sold yesterday just honest thoughts and already doing research into my next investment.
yes as a long term holder who watched the price fall lets hope we can regain our loses and maybe even into profit
Maybe i've got this wrong but didn't the board already say previously that they had only found a 49ft gas column? which caused the price to fall!! Surely already knowing that and the positives to come from todays RNS I would have thought the price may have gone up. Is it just me? I would like top hear opinions.
Very interesting article in The Times today. Thought the share price might have rose on the back of it.
has anyone received their shares yet?
Rookie although I am a holder in both stocks I totally disagree with your statement. A lot of IOG loans are convertible at 19p so even if RRE were able to buy the debt at 19p , in my opinion they would have to bid more than that for the remaining shares
