Every business has debts. TLW is not in a very bad situation at all, yes unsuccessful explorations ended up as 1bn write off in 2020 but they are planning some new drilling at the beginning of next year.

The SP must somehow reflect reality, even if TLW assets are discounted in the current oil crisis, £500m cash alone stands for roughly twice the current market cap! I think it's not unreasonable to expect mid 30s when Uganda is complete.

On Tuesday the BoD said they unreservedly support this merger deal and if that's what creditors are after then why short? Are they worried that with a higher SP level, we, the shareholders may not give our consent?

@grippa will you lend them the money they need to survive?

Inverse head & shoulders pattern has formed over the last few days of trading, very good "long" signal. I'm optimistic that we get to at least 22p

Mainly due to positive momentum. Everyone's expecting the 500m RNS to land any day soon which will translate into long term financial stability. The question here is what is a "large gain"? If the stock will open much higher after the RNS then 10-15% premium from today's price is still a bargain.

Many on this forum said they will short from high 20s. I suspect we will get a proper test for the bottom in the coming days.
