Wrong again...! The Money raised at the IPO is an incidental outcome of issuing new shares to the public, that also rewards the original investors. However, once listed on the stock market the purpose is to reward the new investors through the increase in share price and or dividends, not to just line the pocket of the CEO? Nearly 6 years since THG IPO's yet the share price is down by 97% and not a single penny paid to shareholders, but the CEO has made £hundreds of millions 😳. JAO Adyor!!!

The purpose of an IPO for listing a company on a public stock exchange e.g. FTSE 250 is to generate returns for shareholders through and increasing share price and or dividends, it is not designed to make large sums of money just for the CEO of the company 🤔, unfortunately the latter appears to be true for THG? Was it Matt that said earlier this year 25% of the free float was being shorted? That creates a lot of financial incentives for bent brokers, Hedge FUD's, Daily Rags and those close to the action to short the stock irrespective of fundamentals....JAO Adyor!!!!

If investors think there is a chance this will drift to about 5p on uncertainty surrounding contract cancelled/postponement etc, then some will just sell and park their cash elsewhere it seems?
