RE: Trump10 Mar 2026 07:55
@Banburyboy...you don't have to be a fan of Trump or any politician be they from the Left, the Centre or Right of democratic political parties, but unfortunately in the world we live in sometimes the Leaders of the Free thinking World have to make seemingly irrational unpopular and unsavoury choices despite economic consequences, so the likes of you and me can have disagreements on public forums. The likes of the BBC and far left media etc are very quick to point out the tragic unintended strike on an Iranian school next door to an IRGC HQ compound, but why build it next to a school in the first place? What about the 30,000 innocent protesters mown down by the IRGC with machine guns? What about the tens thousands of political prisoners or individuals that have been executed for speaking out against the Ayotollahs or the women killed or imprisoned in Iran for wearing the wrong clothing, what about their rights to peaceful protest. No, all you are concerned with is the price of a barrel of oil it seems? The Nazis tried to hide behind the same cloak that the Ayotollahs hide behind, but brave politicians not like Chamberlain, Starmer, Corbin or Milliband sometimes have to take the toughest decisions of all to preserve and protect your democratic free way of life whatever the consequences. Trump is definitely not some super hero, but would you prefer to be living under the cosh of someone like the Ayotollahs, Putin or Xi that wouldn't hesitate to have all those who dare to criticise them locked up or worse executed...I can.live with a high oil price and some inconvenience if it means dictators are met head on by the likes of Trump.
