Let's hope that tomorrow is blue. Banks have had a battering in the last week and I thought it would adversely affect Syme but what do I know
Fingers crossed

Watch BBC news now and Australia looks like having navy ships built here looks promising for H&W
Got to be good for the SP tomorrow
Obviously chip on each shoulder
In need of a holiday in Buxton
Agreed,
Looks like someone has netted and disposed of the unwanted pond life. Unfortunately I think it's still fouling another BB which was a great board but has also descended into a bickering bun fight

Thank you for the info you shared
Worth a punt having looked at the company's prospects
Let's hope tomorrow is a repeat of today. Interesting that there were no speeding tickets today or price monitoring rns for the big gains
This has always been a well balanced BB to post on and read knowledgeable posters who give insight into the business. Today has not been great. Those that know nothing, please listen and learn, those that know even less, on your bikes

Great to see this support for Avacta. Shorters burn in hell. Scum
I have read all the posts on here for the last week and I wonder why there are so many detractors. Why dis a share that has so much potential. Surely must be someone who is very vindictive and and has been burnt by a short. Unfortunately there are so many aim experts that that investors are willing to listen to, this board has become a punch and Judy show
So sad
I went to Trent Poly, to learn to be a Mining Engineer
You learn the skills by reading books. You need to be taught by lecturers who have been in the industry
It's a sad loss to lose these great polytechnic institutions that taught, not told students to read a book
I didn't know that there was a Butlins in Austria. Or has winge gone for the Helter skelter at Minehead
Difficult to call. Twice as many buys/sells, but that is very misleading, but 103k trade unknown after hours is interesting. MMS balancing the books or maybe an investor with money to burn
RNS tomorrow?

That's how I got into aim through the Daily Mail in the Lurcher Pub in Rainworth six years ago and invested £1000 at 18p a share
Still in Avacta but my average is 110p
Happy Days

H&W are in the aim, so everything is about short term gains. I believe that our BoD are realists and aspire to put H&W back to where it should be: A leading British innovative heavy engineering business using like minded British suppliers to regenerate our great passion and flare as a nation to produce the best, and eventually be in the FTSE 100

Glad I put a bit more in yesterday at.167. lots of unknown trades going through which usually is a positive sign

Hi TDF
Just read the rns
Well impressed by the positive news. My take is that the news given is conservative so it gives the BoD room to manoeuvre. I'm sure there is more good news to come and they want an SP that doesn't yoyo but goes up and rewards lths
Agreed
The number of shares in circulation is the same as yesterday. The mcap has dropped today because the share price has dropped.
Tomorrow hopefully, the sp will recover ground as news of potential deals sink in with investors
GLA
I must admit, I am very excited by all the positive news from Avacta. My concern is how Avacta will treat us iis. Dilution worries me if Avacta go it alone to raise the money to stay independent. This will being in for the long haul yet again.
I just hope AS remembers us lths
My take is that the sp is safe and only going North. We suffer from the British Trait of building a share up and when it doesn't deliver what we need, we knock it down. GLA

Well said. I agree, with more media exposure, H&W will attract more UK investors because of it's potential growth, British manufacturing and flying the flag for our "Can Do" sense of purpose
