I was aware of the recruiting. I'm glad they are taking on the old boys as well not only to work but also to pass on their skills. My point really was to give apprentices more money to attract the people who are the best at no cost burden to H&W. These people will be the tax payers of the future

The most frustrating obstacle is shortage of skilled labour. An industry like shipbuilding should be subsidised more to get more apprenticeships going to increase the throughput of work. You can win all the business in the world but you need the highly skilled labour to produce the finished product and get paid
I live in hope. We have a great heavy engineering and manufacturing history. Let's continue this and expand and export

I admire your positivity. I have worked in the exhibition industry for 30 years in many countries and exhibiting is a sign of confidence to prospective buyers and existing customers. I want NNN to succeed but it is all smoke and mirrors. Results are what we need. Good luck

I used to organize exhibition stand building abroad and the cost of the stand space would be paid for six months in advance so would the accommodation
