I would slightly disagree with your synopsis

While NCCL are the smaller party vs CMEC, a more successful leader would have built relations, seeks out alternative partners, grown closer to the government, etc.
Furthermore NCCL have wilfully acted like the lesser party, the company strategy from its finances to timescales and business plan have always been to its own detriment.

Am good example in Mozambique of a well lead company is Total who have built very strong connections with the government despite Chinese rivals trying (and at times in interesting ways) to push them out and take a large piece of the LPG fields.

NCCL got dealt a half decent hand but have managed to mess it up and now look likely to go bust.
It didn’t have to play out this way.

UK holders should be concerned no discussion on if the UK share holders will benefit from listing the spin off gold company - there could be a legal challenge if they cut out UK investors as this will be contrary to AIM regulation.

Still relatively love volume trading over the past few weeks; it will take a significant RNS to move this beyond 40p

How will they issue shares in the gold company shares if it’s only listed on the ASX to UK AURA share holders?

One slight correction - ‘we know an AGM is due soon’, I expect GILD will want to update its investors prudently and not wait the full 6 months after the year 1 trading anniversary ?

The share price plunge is a concern and it had started before the RNS sponsorship announcement.Without financial results to work from it is not possible to evaluate the year 1 performance , cash burn, income streams, etc.We know an AGM is due soon with an RNS of financial results; this is what I require to evaluate if GILD is progressing to be a major Esport success or a flash in the pan. One possibility is the board are giving themselves the maximum time prior to the AGM to put in place a new sponsorship deal?

How can anyone be impressed with the company’s own photos?
How can anyone be impressed with the shoddy 3rd rate port?

How can anyone possibly invest another penny in this company?

The issue with NCCL is not the geo politics ; the issue is the board of directors.

This has arguable become a lifestyle company and is being run into the ground with the solar project reserved for the BOD as the loan default gets nearer.

I am told from a Spanish colleague we British will never understand the current national Spanish govt. they do not care about companies and shareholders, they do not care about nuclears ability to provide safe long term energy.
Nuclear is bad, foreign investment is not to be trusted, even mining is bad or to be frowned upon.
All assets within the ground of Spain belong to the Spanish people and they and only they should benefit from extraction.

Not my opinion, but that is how it was explained to me.
Even if BKY could get the permits there is a risk the government would use the permit agreement as leverage to get more out of BKY be it a tarriff, social programmes, taxes, etc.

Spain is not a good country for entrepreneurs is the consensus of a Spanish colleague working in London for that very reason.

You are correct in your statement that I can be accused of exaggerating the sell aspect as on the day in question all buy/sell activities where sells but only for a small financial amount.

Again let me apologise, my tracker flags up to the top shares that only have sells and no buys, it’s a major alert for my investment tracker for companies I am watching with low volume; I would recommend it to anyone else as it’s helped me avoid a few bad investments.
It may not be a ‘law’ or an exact science, but in my experience companies that have 3 or more sell only days within a 30 day period and have a volume over those 30 days of under 10% of shares in circulation are companies or rather share prices that sink to oblivion.
Again, I understand why others would scorn at that investment principle as there are variables within it and no doubt real life examples that prove it to be an inconsistent approach but it works well for my watch list (I generally stick to mining on AIM).

But my approach and exaggerated sell day aside, the facts remain NCCL has only been mining small investors money and time for the past few years.

Again and I can’t tell you how much I mean this, I hope I am complete wrong and NCCL is a huge success.
But I would now make it a 50/1 outsider and the share price is getting closer to reflecting those odds.
