Given the smallest 7 digit number possible is 1.000.000 and yours is at least 2, that alone would make your minimum current holding and valuation in HSBC well in excess of £4 Million Pounds and would place you ahead of many Institutional and Mutual Fund holders invested in HSBC.

Agree, thats my interpretation of the PRA statement.
The onus and responsibility on dividend restraint and Capital Preservation as now been cleary placed on the banks.

Mildly surprised the PRA have taken the decsion to remove all " guardrails " and ratio pay out levels on dividends.
The question now, what will be the payout level of future dividends shareholders can expect to receive.
