On what basis is this investable? It makes Tullow look like Alphabet Inc.

I doubt the debtors will force administration, creditors maybe but they'll have to wait for an event of default and there isn't one, yet.

The only way out is for the largest institutional shareholders, directors and senior management and The Ghanaian government/treasury plus C d'I make a sizeable investment into Tullow and flood it with buy orders for Monday morning (before it opens), given the market cap as of now this will hardly be a strain on resources.

If they had any brains they'd be arranging this now, which means they aren't.

It is not in the interests of Ghana or any of the other African basket cases for Tullow to go bust. It will just make them even more uninvestable.

I just placed at risk another £50,000 combination of CFDs and Spreads at 6p a share. I'm 500,000 shares averaging £14.87. Loss currently £37,600.

I don't expext to make a single cent on the CFD/SPread at 6p.........but given thecrazy chat on here I might.

Ever since the tax outcome I've been a strong buy, poor production numbers and oil price haven't helped but I remain so. I still see Tullow as recovering to 50p a share in 2026 with a refi (there's no equity for them to swap for the debt - bond holders will be far better off agreeing to a 5 year extension with some equity warrants.

I just can't believe Jmax is still getting abuse despite him warning all of us who have been long since I joined at 20p that Tullow was in much deeper trouble than I (or we) expected. If we had listened to him we wouldn't have suffered the losses with now have.

I'm sitting on a £50k paper loss, 500k shares. The only people who have any credibility as to the prospects of my investment in Tullow is Jmax, Anton and there was a bond expert who I haven't seen in a while.

Marcel, honestly, please stop humiliating yourself. It is tedious, especially with Tullow going sub 9p at times today. How many times can you be wrong? Just accept if you (and I) had listened to Jmax and Anton we wouldn't be in the desperate situation you sound like you are in.

I have no connection to or any idea who any of the people I mentioned are.

Highly illiquid & volitile stock - obvs City Index couldn't find enough sellers to match the real sell orders to match the CFD trade. Not going to take the risk on their own balance sheet. IG has gone to telephone only for CFD and Spread Bets - this really means they can't place either. Just buyers in market now with a short squeeze.

The posting on this has mirrored Tullow's performance, it has gone down dreadfully. Yes we all know JMax is insufferable but I think we all also know he has been far more right than wrong in his posts (unlike most of us). Just look at the SP.

Can we please just get back to civil posting which is informative and helpful to those of us invested (or gambled at this stage) in Tullow. That includes you Jmax, yes, you were right, mostly, and I was wrong. Lay off the personal attacks (which I'm also guilty of, apologies Jmax).

I have been invested in Tullow for 2 years now, average 22p. I've already lost £100k which thankfully my wife hasn't spotted yet. I do know if I had listened to Jmax my loss would be a small fraction of that.

Obviously everyone in African Oil was buying like crazy the past 10 days and all sold at 8.00 this morning. Way before anyone knew anything about this bs deal.

Usually you takeover a company load it with debt take the cash and then sell it. Tullow thinks someone will do it the other way around!

You might not have noticed sitting in your Mum's basement but Tullow is up 40% from its low of 2 months ago. Anyone short woud have definetly been burnt.
