The point you're missing (or incapable of understanding? 🤷‍♂️) is that the company doesn't put the asset if for sale. If it was as simple as that, even the current mugs could manage it. It's been as 'for sale' as it's ever going to be for years... But it hasn't sold. So flip your sentence round: there will be a sale when there is a buyer. Solg can't and won't control the process. Wishful thinking on this board, and putting up 'for sale' signs isn't going to cause solgold or cascabel to be sold.

For the 100th time, numbnuts- you can't 'sell' an asset like this or a company like solg. You need a buyer. If there was one kicking about, this would be gone by now. Instead, what you're finally learning, is that you need to attract a bid. And that takes a very long time indeed. It's the reason sensible, informed posters called out 'fast and smart' as nonsense when it was first said. Slow, grinding, boring limping on through permitting and investor protection agreements. The work of many, many years, during which you have to hope against dilutive fundraising, or sell out and buy back in when there's a realistic chance of a buyer coming along.

I remember how absolutely vile fort was when told this had a long way to go. He was insistent about 'tier 1 this' and 'asset value that'. Finally he has realized that the market will control the value of the company, no matter how much he whines.

Gas and oil will continue to be critical to the UK for a good while longer, but the direction of travel will always follow the money, and as resources become more expensive to extract, they will become less viable. I don't need to prove it to you though, the data has and will continue to be on my side.

I think we'll use gas for quite a long time to come. And we'll probably extract more of our own. A necessary evil whilst technology continues to advance.

12:40 today: renewables producing over 60% of above average demand. Cost per mwh about £45, less than 70g/mwh co2.

Average with coal (obviously lower demand going back to coal's heyday): cost per mwh about £64/mwh, over 250g/mwh of CO2.

And he thinks renewables are going to go away... The above is the reason china invested nearly as much in renewables in 2024 as the whole world (including china) did in ff infrastructure. Follow the economics, not the whiney fools who swallow the garbage legacy ff companies pay hundreds of millions to promote to those with soft brains and fingers to lazy to Google.

If you can't read any of the many graphs showing China's surging investment in renewables, vs stagnant/declining investment in ff, you're hopeless (I suspected that anyway). When the articles announcing peak coal come out, I don't expect you to understand what that means. When they first net-close coal power stations, you'll claim it's a blip and wasn't foreseen. And when their CO2 per mwh continues to drop, you'll claim it doesn't show an increase in renewables. Maybe you'll attribute it to water powered cars...

No one is making china buy more EVs and install more solar. They are not hamstringing themselves. So why are they installing so much? We reduced our CO2 per mwh far more slowly than most developing nations are now... Because technology has improved in recent years. Overall energy consumption was always going to increase as the world advanced. The questions were answering tonight are about how we generate that electricity. And the data has your answer: proportionally more and more renewables, proportionally less coal. If it was better to go with coal, why is china adding renewables faster than the rest of the world? It's clearly not worried about building new coal stations, and yet it is growing it's renewable capacity far faster. Are they sick with the 'woke' bug, or do they see it as a good idea?

What's happened/is happening to the amount of CO2 per mwh globally? What's causing that drop? What's the direction of travel? Is it a larger proportion of renewables? Why? It's not just the UK... You're being left behind almost everywhere. Especially... Dare I say it... Your beloved china!
