The bi-specific antibody described in the issued patent was developed by the Company and the patent application for it first filed in 2016. That filing, together with data showing its efficacy in humanised mice with respect to BM/HSC transplantation conditioning, formed the basis of the Company's collaboration with a leading global pharmaceutical company ("GlobalCo") to develop CDX further (https://hemogenyx.com/investors/announcements/announcement/2018/Hemogenyx-Pharma-Plc---Development-Agreement/).

So basically this patent covers what Hemo have contributed to the Global co collaboration. First filed 5 years ago.

I doubt the patent will protect from competitors who are producing their own products in this niche as that groups stifle innovation for new drugs. However, I'm assuming it stops someone using the technology that Global co and hemo have produced so far? So this is part of Hemo's negotiation on IP rights and contributions for Global co work to date?

Yes, I have to say I was hoping for an update on research. It's good they have the patent but it was a necessary step before starting preclinical trials otherwise what would be the point in showing the product works if someone else could just reproduce it...

What we need is a clear and positive update on research progress. Everything else is smoke and mirrors.

MyLucy, having to ask them to invest on their own company in order to give confidence to shareholders seems to kind of defeat the purpose. If they were confident at this price, why wouldn't they have invested. Also, there have been no TR1's at all so far. So where are these shares going?

The risks are pretty well detailed in these two documents. Also with all the new shares in issue, it is possible there may be further restructuring.

It's all in the RNS's. There is a lot of information to wade through. I'm sure someone will be along in a while to give you a summary but I recommend you read the prospectus and all the recent RNS's going back at least 18 months to get a full picture.

lol, don't mention the tweets kingping! you'll set us all off again. Seriously though, I really don't think anyone should put any value on Vlad's tweets with regards to Hemo's future. The only think that will encourage me to put more of my money into Hemo is a very positive, clear RNS on research progress, not a repeat of what we already know. Otherwise, I can see this languishing here or going lower unfortunately.

Just looked. 14th april news of Global co not taking option. So it's been a 6 week hurricane really.

It's not even 4 months is it. It's mainly since the Global co news.

I didn't expect dilution to occur over such a short time frame and at such a low SP, when I was already sitting on a loss. I didn't think my holding would be 2.3 times diluted within 4 months.
