Agree we don’t know the future ,my target price is on the assumption that, no fundamental change in the macro environment ( I.e. no more Covid , Russia war situation either improves or does not deteriorate further , no other war such China / US/ Taiwan/ Japan , inflation situation does not get worse etc )

I feel for those who bought pre covid level, however I invested during that period when both stocks about to collapse ! That is why I said check my post , in the last 3 years !

Every investment comes with risk, Iag and Rr not immune to that , from my optimistic risk taker perspective, both are are at the growth stage and still recovering, we should expect better returns! Comparing to US market these are cheap stocks at this price ! I had invested in Tesla ( gone from $110 to $270 from last December, same for google, Amazon ) , it’s all about market sentiments, once this improves, institutional investors starts buying UK ftse 100 stocks , below £2 will be in the rear mirror!

Let’s wait and see …. Patience is required here ! For records, You can see my post when Iag was £1, now nearly 60% up, you can also see my post on RR was 60p now £1.93! Many at that time made pessimistic comments it going bust , if Rr can go from 60p to £1.90 and Iag from £1 to where it is now why can’t it go £3.50?

I’m still holding both ( with big profit) as I said the top two post recovery stocks !

Market does factor fundamentals and eventually reflect , only those short term and day trader can’t see that ! When I buy a share I see I’m buying a business , not for day trading , we need to let grow and then see the fruits

Was expecting 10% rise following the trading update , not a bad start 6%+! As many have already said here , Iag is going towards a profitable, sustainable world leading airlines business! We have seen debts reduced by €3b, with over €1b profit, reached nearly 100% of the pre Covid level , Q3, and q4 already started looking good !

What else need from an investors perspective? I have loaded before the result day and will hold for long term , I see re rare coming , my target get price £3.50. Short term it may hit £2.20+

We should see how market react when it’s opened, if it drops I will buy more , key points

1. Debts reduced by €3b, gearing reduced to 1.5x EBITDA

2. Record profits over €1b , up nearly 300% from

estimated

3. Overall reached 97% of the pre- Covid level

4. Negative revenue slightly less than forecast

Results looks good, plus we are due to receive dividend, going ex div next week! I see opportunity to buy a stable and profitable business! In the high interest rate and inflation environment , investors will seek a dividend paying solid business like BT! Just topped up

Jeffries just reiterated to buy with £2.10 TP, where as Jpm guy still dreaming at 70p !

I wonder why Jpm still have not replaced him with some one sensible rather than a dreamer ?

What a day to start with , my 3x Rr up 77%! It’s just start , long way to go, Rr is a perfect post Covid recovery stock as I have been saying here for last 2 years

Next leg £2+ then finally £3.50 as gearing reduce , increase cash flow. Nice to see shorters burning

£3.50 achievable in next 12 months

For LTH started this new thread as I’m bored of seeing negative posts ! I hope tullow starts motoring soon, it’s holding well last few days

Kenya project can deliver substantial value to tullow and that is what keeping me interested in this stock alongside its steady low cost existing production. Recent directors buy and new NED indicate something happening behind the scene. I have added more as I see tlw is cheap at this price given the prospect! Dyor

It’s too early to sell, aviation industry is picking up, flying hours reaching to pre Covid level , airline companies upgrading their planes, servicing, RR will generate more cash , smell of dividends will bring institutional investors means share price re- rate ! My target £2.50 to £3 ranges in next 6 months

It doesn’t always correlate x3 but takes close to that , if Rr goes to £2 then x3 will be nearly double ; we have seen when it jumped from 90p to £1.40 , x3 gone 3 folds

This is just one example; I’m waiting to hear news on electric aircraft, taxi and commercial feasibility…

UltraFan is said to deliver a 10% efficiency improvement compared to its current Trent XWB, which it says is the most efficient large aero engine currently in service.

Rr success means ours too as shareholders; I have lost many opportunity cost as my large chunk of capital is tied up with RR, even recently topped up by selling Tesla, I see great value here and optimistic it will be the next Tesla in the aerospace industry while it has solid civil and defence business! I am not here to make a few penny gains rather a few multiple x current SP…is it unrealistic to expect Rr macap at £100b , when I look at Few US stocks it does seem achievable if RR starts producing electric planes , nuke mini SMR, alongside its fuel efficient aircraft engines

Eventually jobs cut may need to take place to make business profitable; that’s why Tufan is here he did say business being mismanaged, not focussed on profit ! This is positive for shareholders, it’s not a government subsidiaries , Rr should do what is best for its owners, we would like to see return and business is being run efficiently and making money ! It’s a great co with lots of potential; as a start I would like to see SP going £2+ soon

Today’s India news dragged the sp but I think it should not have any impact as these allegations were related to 2013 or earlier , was Indian authorities sleeping, they are corrupted anyway and run by an extremist leader Modhi who himself is too controversial, RR should find better place to do business and ditch India until current government change

It’s generated revenue of €45b macap €22b+ debts €30b EV €52b; EPS €.11 with 8% dividend; as WB said its transfer of wealth from impatient to patient investors !

Those buying now will be the gainers
