I can't see a tip in today's IC. Looks like it was last week 02/02/2023 they tipped NEX. Looking back they previously they tipped NEX 24 March 2022 when the sp was 224p,..then updated that tip in July 2022 sp 188p,.. tipped again last week 142p, so you have to laugh or cry if you followed their tip last year as they have tipped it all the way down as a buy.
Hopefully they are right this time 3rd time lucky.
I did read just after the results I'm sure it was HSBC, had a Buy rating with an sp target above 200p,..something like 215p. Can't remember where I read it.
£868.93M
Decimal point in the wrong place move it two to the left.
Current mkt cap is £868.93 according to ADVFN.
continues to drift ever lower from 300p early 2021 at a constant rate albeit with a few spikes a long the way. It really is worrying with the debt/energy costs although for the near term appears manageable.
The market appears to be pricing in massive headwinds of sorts, financial viability with the balance sheet.
On top of all that the small matter of Russia building up forces, massive invasion in days,..is it all about to kick off WW3!
Is it likely? Or trading worse than predicted on prior update?
Fall does seem large baring in mind my watchlist has nearly every thing well up or close to breakeven.
Primetime51 yours share can still be loned out by your stockbroker without your permission to short sellers,..unless you put a sell order of your shares at a higher price, that's my understanding, though others may correct me if I'm wrong.
There's always the chance someone has got hold of inside info. And I speculate perhaps margins are under further pressure, the sp retrace has been from above 300p with occasional sporadic shoots to the upside. Something is driving it lower and pi's will be the last to find out no doubt about that.
Looks a bargain and I have a fairly sizable holding here but I am worried at the dire sp performance.
Only one in the red today in my watchlist, very disappointing.
Falling on mkt up days is v. disconcerting.
The trend downwards continues ever more, must be some with inside info pushing this ever lower and it concerns me.
Can only presume the stock market is looking ahead and doesn't like what it sees hence the continued sp decline.
Massive Debt? Will it be serviceable at higher interest rates? Is it sustainable?
Shortage of drivers/strikes,...Margins squeezed.
Profitability going forward is going to be somewhat reduced
Must be an increasing chance of a cash raise at some point, sooner rather than later!
Intraday I remember watching it closely seeing 68p to buy as I placed a dummy order at the time but was only being offered 2,500 shares so didn't bother and it quickly rose thereafter that day.
My partner private sector 3.5% pay rise, obviously getting poorer, Royal Mail wanting 10%, nurses 19%. railways, now here.
Is this in a debt spiral, downtrend from 300p no end in sight.
re. bombing,..if Putin drops a tactical nuke all bets are off, October is typically the month of crashes if one is due.
As for wg. the mkt doesn't usually get it wrong.
$700M would be a large wad to pay out, mkt hates uncertainty.
Maybe third Fri of the month or quarter, I believe known as triple witching, lots shares go into auction.
