Great that AB has a big stake and i think that prevents us being a takeover target by anyone other than AB. But the market is voting for ABs leadership with their feet....

Hi romaron. Great analysis. I agree with what you post and that enquest is undervalued. I guess one thing that is difficult to value is ABs damaged reputation. As many write on this and other forums AB has consistently missed expectations and Alma, galia, scolty and kraken havent down him any favours. Whats your view on that? Maybe a new CEO with strong buy in from investors and AB as chairman?

Yeah disappointing. Alma, galia, scolty and kraken - operational failures. Hopefully AB has got the message - enquest as a company is poor at delivering new projects. Their usp is end-of-life and that fits Magnus. Had been better that AB had bilen the kraken cash on 4 Magnus Fields but he has learnt his lesson hopefully...

Jan - i am not moaning. I agree a good sign - just pointing out that as a percent it is low compared to his existing huge holdings. But definitely good. For me the moodys report was the big breakthrough. It actually aligned quite well with my analysis. The Magnus deal is definitely a game changer and relieves financial pressure.

What has happened to poo is the direct result of trumps waivers. What will this do? When we start nearing the may deadline and Trump turns to saudi next time they will not oblige. It is called cry wolf. Impact - trumps sanctions are dead in the water.

At the highest level. I would as some have written not put it past some political involvement in selling of oil future contracts. The market is applying maximum pressure ahead of the Opec meeting in less than 2 weeks but also the shale production. Although many were cash flow positive in q3 that will not be the case now. No answer from anyone to my question yesterday but does anyone remember when enquest arranges hedges for the coming year? I have a feeling they do it in september which would have been good

I seem to remember that enquest sorts their hedging program for the coming year in september. Has any one else heard something similar? I think the price was quite good back then.
