Could it be the prospect of even more taxes on extra profits of the oil and gas companies to curry favour with the general populatuon. They know they are hated , but all they know is tax tax tax , waste , waste , waste .

I am with Iweb and as yet not got the divi / return of capital from Glencore .

Craig30 I bought 1300 shares in National Express in December 2016 - for the Dividend . They were £3.53 per share . Dividend in 2017 was £164.71 , 2018 was £181.22 , in 2019 was £199.29 , in 2020 was £154. 70 - Covid cancelled the Dividend then . I was very happy with the rising Dividend I have not sold out , I have bought more as the price has reduced . I think my average is £1.15 now . I do not need to sell so will wait . I just hope it can recover and not get bought out , fingers crossed .

Lawstudent 95 ExDividend is short for Excluding Dividend , so no you will not receive the Dividend .

Poker I paid £3.42 for these about 2016/ 17 , so thats why I say on the cheap

Well I first bought National Express about 7 years ago for the decent dividend , I paid about £3.40 a share . Got a few years of dividends but then covid . I last bought some at a quid . I feel a bit of a mug to be honest . I can imagine a bargain basement buyout like what happened to Stagecoach . all signs seem to be there , I really hope I am wrong .

Does anyone know when the next dividend will be announced ?

I`m with Iweb and received the dividend on the 5th .
