Any loss is sickening but it can be recouped with savings and savvy investments over time. I made the mistake of investing in cine as the sp had already dropped substantially and we were coming out of lockdown..I thought winner winner chicken dinner but I didn't look at the fundamentals of the business and watched in horror as the sp tumbled further..I now have a few pounds left in cine and not worth selling them. I also learnt not to dump lots into any one share at any one point in time..I thought I was saving on transaction fees but I'd have been far far better just pound cost averaging over months and years

I think the best thing to do is close down SMR if it's sucking up RR cash..government are fu cktards and dare'nt/won't order so put it in the bottom drawer and redeploy the staff

I said 29th May that it would be 50% production rate for the 1st few months but I didn't think for a minute that 100% would take till December. I'm down about 25-30% but I don't intend to sell...my plan when I entered this in December was to drip feed every month but the SP went up and I got greedy and bought lots at nearly 1p...small beer by some standards but it's still not nice. The underlying reason for investment in Li stocks remains solid though...EV's are going to take off BIG so my plan is to carry on with PREM + one other Li miner and a nickel miner too though not big buys in one go...we will recover.

It would be nice not having to try to guess but I was wondering if anyone know how the system worked...in the 2 min vid I guessed 150 kgs so if one press was running out of the for 22 days a month then you'd get 2376 tonnes a month

So you've all seen this video of the spod pressing I've no doubt...the vid is 2 mins long and I counted 30 'sheets' of spod produced from the press during the 2 min vid...wiiiiilllllld guess the sheets are 5 kgs a piece on average...they're not 100g each and they're not 25 kg each...so give me my 5kgs per sheet please so that's a run rate of 1.25 kg per sec or 4.5 tonnes per hour. and there are 3 presses....so each press would need to be loaded with feedstock and each press would need the filters cleaned also ..can anyone take a guess how long it might take to feed one press and replace or clean the filters please...if it's the case that one press is running whilst the other is being filled and the other is having it's filters changed, you can't get any higher than 108 tonnes per day from the plant, maybe that's why GR is struggling as it isn't 4000 tonnes

Hi Jersey, yes the plan is a sea freight to China though I understand rather than a bulk carrier, the spodumeme is packed into 1 tonne bags suggesting that it would be containerised. You have to think that there are factors either quality or quantity that have stopped PREM saying hey we've produced X tonnes at quality Y in n RNS. My uneducated guess is that they're pouring material in at one end and the stuff they're getting out at the other end isn't the magic 6% so an issue with parts of the equipment rather than the ore going in is what I would guess

HT, you want to have a look at the lithium startups PREM and KOD the ups and downs there are enough to take anyone's mind off HEMO...down 12% yesterday, 14% today they're ripping each other's throats out

Don't be daft, of course there not on fixed price contracts lol...metals and energy are highly volatile...LM6 has traded between $3803 and $1411 over the last 3 years...if you'd have agreed a fixed price of aluminium at $1411 in April 2020 you be out of business almost immediately as aluminium went up

Hi Acker, I haven't read the agreement but the magic 4000 tonnes per month is I guess the theoretical capacity of the kit as currently installed...I knew it wasn't going to go from zero to a 4000mt run rate on the first day and I said so 29th march, big projects are very hard to manage and deliver on tine. we're delayed by a few weeks, so what? My biggest worry us the quality of the material for rather than the output, the output can be fixed, if the quality is good we have nothing to worry about and expansion shouldn't be too hard with cash and experienced staff...this will be a massive learning curve for everyone involved in the project.

No supplier would agree to a fixed price as the risks would be too great..what will be in place with the suppliers is a quarterly metal currency and energy escalator....if the prices werent allowed to increase their suppliers would be out of business

Yes, agree Aiden..I said 29th March that production would be 50% of nameplate capacity for the first few months whilst they debug, you'd have to have been very optimistic to think they were just going to plug it in and it would produce at 4000 tonnes a month right away...I'm here for a 2, 3, 4 year view and by then EV sales will be going crazy and adding capacity will take yonks

The costs of materials have been absolutely raging over the last 2 years or so so it's hard to say grossly mismanaged...every one of MTUs competitors will have faced the same inflationary pressures..Cummins, deere and Caterpillar included

Yes, agree if you want high risk but quick money look at AIM shares...of course you may loose everything. RR on the other hand is a plodder it's going to take a long time to improve efficiencies within the company but it will improve.

So what are we expecting re the new jet pump? Current production is 250k cubic feet per day at say $6 to $7 per thousand cubic feet what will the new pump bring, any ideas anyone please?
