Yea I am half expecting perhaps a better offer in next few days but its difficult to think it's IAG. This has to be approved by shareholders yet at a meeting after court. I didn't see a date but I'm sure all investors will say no, but will it be enough & what if it becomes a hostile bid? Don't know what happens under those circumstances.

Possibly, but oil is used for many many others things as well as fuel. Lubricants for a big start. Road surfacing, plastics ( yes some of that could be problematic ) , building materials, to name but just a few.
