surely it would increase as people take positions ahead of the news coming..."buy while you can" before the masses all try to buy on news?

..there's no volume so they will play around with spreads and move the sp to generate business.

estimate just 46k sells & 18k buys today...compared to volume of over 2 million last Wednesday

yep - halifax online can get 10k for 118.9p

resistances to watch for are mid 120's and then the mid/high 130's which has twice proved too much over the past fortnight

watch the MM flip and now sell the 30k of shares for 110p+

just the one MM left on 113p, quoting at 500 shares so a couple more trades of that size should shift them

115p next which might take a more concerted buying to move

I'll have a guess from looking at the movements over the past few days that there are only 2, maybe 3 active MM's here at the moment...possibly a couple of other taking the odd sell on board but not selling on.

So traded volume doesn't need to be much to give the sp a nudge both ways. WINS quoting 5x the volume of the other MM's effectively mean they are in control of the sp

a FoK order for 2500 should get executed as that is the quoted NMS of one of the MM's...all the others quote 500

so the Directors are insider trading now?

if they know or have been handed evidence/results, they would need to be released as price sensitive information.

Very true...but it is the same drug being trialled - hence my question. Even their website makes no distinction

Re the imminent Japanese results.....why would these be significantly different to the European results (announced in May and then the sub-group in June)?

I'd also add to your list that the share price has risen from 60p to the current levels on ???

Anything other than speculation of the Japan results being positive?

25k sell getting just 103.491p clearly shows the issue with tightly held stock and placing NT trades

2x 10,000 sells to me caused it....10k now to buy under mid with WINS (2,500 MM) acting as support currently. need 120p to hold, next support on intraday at 110p, then 100p
