It's no surprise that we havent had the DFS thus far given how the political situation in CZ has evolved since the election. My expectation is that until a new government is in place (Coalition or Minority) it is unlikely that we will see the DFS. Given the role the Ministry of the Environment is playing in the DFS I would think until the new minister is in place, it is possible we are in a holding pattern. Not at all ideal, and I hope to be proven wrong but that is my thought. Of interest (to me anyway) is that the current Governor of Ust was the MoE in Babis prior government so perhaps will be part of the new government/MoE and a stakeholder in the approval. My investigations this far is that he is a supporter of the project.

As it relates to the deadline for JTF funding, i think this is a non issue, because the approving authority on this is the MoE, so pretty easy for them to approve an extension IMO if it is required.

All in all frustrating if this plays out as I am thinking, especially in the context of demonstrable progress with this building permit, as well the latest missives from the EU and I await EMH's update

LukasK & Rpks, some of the documents dont always translate that well into English, but are looking at the process and approval to re-classify the land (mine, transport corridor and processing plant) for use as a lithium mine? If so this would be the step before the EIA?

@LukasK thanks for posting, very interesting read. I would say the article and the overall website is authored from an environmentalist point of view, so i am not surprised at the skeptical position.

I think it does though highlight one of the main, if not the main obstacle for the project and indeed for wider development of CRM's in the EU. Basically, we are NIMBY's, and socialist governments prefer to keep voters happy taking the easy path and importing from elsewhere; outsourcing the environmental impact/emissions and then virtue signalling about the net zero journey.

Based on what we are seeing from Trump recently and China over the last 20 years, Europe is in danger of being left without a supply chain as demand ramps up for critical raw materials towards the end of the decade.

Babis next move on the chessboard will be interesting given he doesnt have an election for 4 years and has a pretty big mandate now.

Good volume today, passing 500k shares traded so far and 10p paid. October just around the corner so in theory we should be getting the DFS delivered. Czech elections also over the next week or so. GLA

I see the CZ PM is hosting a live meeting in Teplice today, thats only a few KMs from Cinovec. I am sure there questions related to the project, we may see this is in the press over the next few days

I think it was always going to be weighted to bullish based on the last RNS, i dont think we need chat to tell us that. They also committed to sharing the scale of prospective resources in the SMD-C and SFS which is a further point of upside. In addition to the operational risk of completing the horizontal which on balance could be done by the time of the webinar, the only other area of risk that I see is the timing of the completion, in the last RNS they stated up to two months to confirm contractors and plans. I would have thought they will update on this on the 9th.

This is an appraisal well, the prior RNS established that we will be drilling the horizontal and likely flow testing. They have already confirmed correlation to Pipeline State in that RNS and their interpretation of the SMD-B so the geological risk on the horizontal is low.

All the trades at 16.15.58 were AT trades. If the 888,888 trade disappeared there was no order for them to fill, not sure if I got the gist of the theory here but it look to me like the order was filled.

RPKS - is that the capex in the PFS? I think it will be quite a bit higher in the DFS. The unknown is the opex from my POV, house broker estimating $5.4k/t in their recent update note, if it is anywhere near that I will be delighted.

Thank you KukasK - where I was coming from was that it wouldnt be the first time that progress on a major initiative slowed up as a result of an election. In this case, where the likely incoming government are local stakeholders in the Usti region, it is not no hard to envisage them wanting to claim all the credit once they are form their government and are in power. Time will tell.

Thanks for this LukasK - we know Brabec and Schiller are ANO, is it possible that that the other majors you reference are also aligned to the ANO party? I also thought some time back that the current PM would like to extract maximum PR out of Cinovec in the lead up to the election.

Wouldnt be a surprise at all to see it settle at 20-25p after the DFS, i would imagine any impulse move beyond that would be sold into pretty quickly given I would think there are plenty of shareholders ready to throw the towel in on KC

On release of the DFS, I'd be surprised if it got anywhere near £1, I would be delighted if we did but we would need to see the lithium spot price move through 15K and towards 20K/tonne for that to be anywhere near realistic IMO, not impossible given current momentum. There may well be some other news that drives us higher (election related, offtake etc) but just the release of the DFS alone is very unlikely IMO to send us beyond 50p IMO. Must admit I am enjoying a troll free feed, many thanks Bob Triples!

Overall, i am glad that the available cash issue which was clear from the latest quarterly financials has now been resolved. The dilution is modest here although the discount to the prevailing share price will weight on the price for a few weeks; one of the few things the CEO can take credit for over the last couple of years is the minimal dilution since the Cinovec deal was done with CEZ quite a few years ago. So, potentially light at the end of the tunnel in terms of the DFS which is slated now after the election it seems and from my POV I think there is some co-incidence with this timing. GLA

Rpks - thanks for posting the working group info, interesting to note that Jan Schiller is part of the ANO party (Babis party in opposition to current PM) who appear to be in the lead in the polls in the upcoming election, whether they secure enough seats to gain a majority is unclear. Schiller has previously spoke out in general support of Cinovec

seems quite odd that the troll on one hand will say the preferred approach to investing in EMH is to wait for the DFS to arrive and then post a diatribe of misleading/false/derogatory information (the latest being the JTF funds - there is absolutely nothing to say that EMH cant apply for an extension to those timelines). On face value that would be an attempt at market manipulation.

Oh dear, Skelly stooping to the level of copying previous posts in an attempt demonstrate, you were wrong and I was right. apart from being utterly sad, I think based what we heard yesterday from the company and today by their house broker it is reasonably likely we will see the DFS within weeks. I am sure investors and readers of this forum can make up their own mind.
