A quote from me "This is my first post here but I just want to say that I haven't found this board to be that bad in the slightest, theres some very good reads, it reminds me of GGP's board. Its refreshing looking into shares again after being out of the game for a while and visiting boards in which there seems to be more helpful posts then aguing or bashing."
I had to open my big mouth didn't I!
"You have my vote BNC I will stop using the term Clowns for Redknight, Addicknt and BBG. Thank you for a well written request and a wake up call."
Sorry but I did lol when I read this, I know it almost certainly wasn't meant but it just reads like Quandy wants to call them clowns one more time as a last hurrah before being polite :)

Quandy apols for my above view but you did make me lol :)
lol whats funny about that is that I was actually thinking to myself why am I typing all this instead of just looking for a company with the figures I just mentioned but i hope my reply, yes agreed long, explains why I also asked it.
I only get bugged because I dont think anyone should be put off from asking question no matter how they come across but do agree that mine was a bit stupid considering all the possible variables.
Thanks for the replies, some interesting pov as per usual.
@Blantyreboy I am slowly doing research but the likes of your comment have always bugged me:- "Look, why don't you do a bit of research, find a mining company with similar income and costs; job done."
For me, asking questions on these boards "Research" (Unless you dont trust anyone here) Can sometimes give you a better view of a share due to how people can better explain the answer to a question you are asking. Yes you have to be careful of the over rampy posts but tbh I dont get that feel on here, just reading over many of the comments its easy to see that people seem to want to stay more grounded than on some boards in which unless you are overly rampy you are not well liked and god forbid you ask a question that looks in anyway negative! EUA last year was a classic example among a few others, not sure if its as bad now?
I've read over so many posts on here its shown me so far that there seems to be so many who want to stick to whats known and not get to much ahead of themselves, some try to explain in depth why they think GGP has such a good outlook but when you have people getting told off for saying oz of gold that come across as overly high then again it shows atleast some level of honesty, assuming there is such a thing on share boards!
Look at Bamps recent posts mentioning that he thinks that the amounts in the MRE could be lower due to the area thats being used to calculate it, even though its only a part of the actual resource currently known. Some think it could come across as negative due to a lower number BUT does that make Bamps a deramper? Not in the slightest, imo its shows him explaining why a certain number could be less but because of this reason which ends up in being a major positive when properly understood. Apologies to Bamps if my explanation reads wrong. Point being thsi board and some of its posters seem genuine in what they input.
As for research, I was reading about Telfer last night and when you think of what that mine turned into it shows how big these things can grow to, hopefully for you all it turns out to be the same at Hav and beyond.
Hypothetical scenario:-
A gold mining company has possible income of £1000m (£1b) Over 10 years, the yearly income can vary as it isn't just set to £100m per year.
The yearly income is used to pay costs, mine and purchase other locations, lets say the outcomes of these are not known but that the money is being well spent to try to build a better company and that the yearly costs are average in the sector.
Question:-
What do you think the market cap of that company would be? Is it £1b or is it more or less based on the above scenario?
I know some of you will, what if they strike, what if they buy another proven resource, what if they fail etc but lets just say these factors are not known so you have to value the company based on the known income over 10 years and how the income will be used. I understand there are so many other variables that could affect the price but just base it on what I've wrote above.
Now I just want to add that this question makes sense in my mind but may not come across as so!
I read it as saying top 350m of the SE crescent could have about 3m oz which leaves the bottom 300m and the Northern breccia pockets still to added to that total? If so then my questions are simply, roughly what could be in the further 300m and what other extra addons could be in the rest of the area?
Good read btw even if i didn't understand most of it!
From 12.10 the image shows that its open below and to the right, can anyone tell me how much of the land to the right we own and why they haven't started to drill into that section yet, assmuning they haven't btw?
Thanks
Thanks for the replies they are much appreciated, the byproducts can always be overlooked by so many investors but can play such a big part! Some, including myself, tend to forget its not just about the gold!
Ty again
I dont hold here (I currently dont hold any shares in anything) I just wanted to add that with this current drop it seems like theres some news of some sort on the way, wouldn't surprise me if an RNS dropped tomorrow or next week as there has to be a reason for it?
So what if the whole banking system is digital? Its still valid that if there was some major worldwide event that caused massive outages for weeks, months etc crytpo would become irrelevant funnily enough as would anything digital! Yes I know we would have more important things to worry about obviously but that still doesn't mean crypto will outlive gold as it just wont! Oh and the whole post on whats been used as currency over the years with a link is pointless as a simple google will point to gold many times thats been used as a currency of some sort for thousands of years! Am I a gold bull? Nope not in the slightest, I'm just not naive enough to think that crypto will be regarded as more valuable than gold in years, maybe many, many years down the road!
However I may be wrong but probably none of us will live long enough to see whos right or wrong! Its more likely that the PTB will bring in their own cryptos and outlaw all others!
So if theres a world wide disaster which is an actual possibility that cuts all power how exactly do you get your crypto to pay for things? Gold will out live crypto all day long, could crypto become more important than gold for years? Yes, but gold will always outlive it as its got physical worth, the only way crypto will outlive gold is if crypto coins are made from gold lol.
Btw this is in no way a dig at crypto as it does have its uses and blockchain will become far more mainstream in years to come, will bitcoin or eth etc be the major players in that world? Who knows?
