There will be some posters on this site that may remember him as a regular poster from a good while ago. I discovered some very sad news tonight. He really was a star on here and the news has shocked me. I stayed at his house for a night and he left lasting impression.

I am really concerned. I read the comment of Vladimir this morning and despite trying not to I had to admit for the first time he is probably right. All the tit for tat tarriffs. The rise of populism and the total failure of multi culturalism along side a complete dearth of decent leadership is to say the least worrying. I hold a large number of Enquest but am relaxed with what I have gleaned about the progress of the company. That though is based on the continued ability for it to manoeuvre around the every growing pile of dross spewed out by those who think they make the rules. Every rns this company issues strengthens my belief it is well run and making excellent progress. Sadly it does not reflect in the sp yet. It will but it takes time to build a company without taking on large amounts of debt..

Woodford is hitting quite a lot of small companies at present. I have been caught by ETX but as yet I do not think it is in trouble. More and more of these funds are getting hit. There is a dash for cash in some circles and risk is not seen as good. Happy to wait though here but have changed my dividend policy to cash now and not re investment. Can afford a pie and a pint on Friday at least..

I added in early May which was too early but such is life. I had a few but had traded them so my average although too high was manageable. I averaged down which I do not usually do but am going to hold these for a while and see where it goes. It has potential and a little pharma can soon explode..

It amazed me last night to see a large company fall so fare from grace so quickly due to pure incompetence. The staff at McDonalds were disgraceful in the way they handled the childrens petition. Their stance will cost them dear. I have some of these and may add a few more now..Sort of up yours.

Just cannot get excited anymore and can hardly raise the enthusiasm to look in at the present. We were up first thing but still well under the RI. Tankers come and go with what appears boring regularity. Trump acts like the Duke of York and has yet to scale his wall. Trumpty Dumpty comes to mind but by taking an afternoon nap the day soon passes... At some point though we will re rate. I just hope it is in the right direction... zzzzz

This has got clonked by Woodford from the holding rns. Perhaps somebody has been persuaded to buy the stock he had to sell. I think the company still has some chance of recovery..
