He had £4.54mil in bank, and funded for all of 2018, oil should be sold for 2019 creating revenue and even if it wasn’t he could have raised back end of the year which the Sp would imo been higher. All the rampers trying desperately to spin this morning into a positive yet no one actually clarified why they now need an extra £5mil when they had £4.54mil in the bank that was supposed to last for all of 2018 (according to bod). Need answers before I add more here given there is clearly no thought as to selling oil for income near term as if they could they wouldn’t raise for 2019

Imo they will be waiting until a lot closer to the 150 day test mark as to not give inflated flow rates to then only declare a big drop

Either way we will hear something over the next 2 to 3 weeks given the initial three month period is up. But, perhaps we won’t as I don’t see the need to notify the market if they are taking the further 3 month option given it was made clear in the announcement rns. Maybe I’m wrong but it wouldn’t be price sensitive as it was already announced they had the option. The Permits will be the driver to any announcement imo and we are approaching 10 weeks since submission

If I hear “never has an aim company been paid by a major” one more time I’m sure I will shoot myself. Yes we know this. It’s been said on here a million times over. It doesn’t however mean a deal will be struck. Don’t count your chickens and make your own investment decisions on balance not because people on here sell you the dream over a major paying, what to them, is peanuts to secure exclusive rights for review. Yes very positive and yes a first, and yes I am too very positive of a deal, but please stop repeating same old lines, this month we will have news either way, and just because of a 10% on small volume (when we have been over 3.6-3.7 range recently), isn’t going to set me on fire just yet. I don’t think BPC have a huge choice, in some respect if they can’t reach a deal they would require serious funding, I totally agree it’s not one sided but if I’m a betting man they need the major more than than the major needs them, simple buisness sense

Degsy, agree but come on...if one major walked you seriously think the others wouldn’t have doubts ie if it wasn’t good enough for that major why would we want it. They all do the same due diligence so it would, imo, be unlikely any other deal would come forward and certainly not in any near time, but which point share price would have crashed. Fact. See also my last post. As I say no one knows and I’m sure it won’t come to that but don’t be naive and bury your head, very dangerous game

Sundaysun, it can be relevant not sure how you say it can’t? End of the day others refused or turned down a money offer for exclusive access. Why? So I see that as fairly relevant. However in the end it may also be not relevant if we do have a deal. But I’m just mindeful that others majors for some reason didn’t want it, didn’t offer or simply didn’t fight for it. Make if that what you will, no right or wrong answer to that by the way! Just opinion but it is relevant of sorts imo. Just because it “doesn’t suit” doesn’t mean it’s not relevant. Time will tell but I’m feeling confident of an update within the next 3 weeks
