RE: Tribune news - just out25 Feb 2019 20:09
Mr Potter conceded there was “still a lot of work to do with the Government to ensure we get the complete environmental authorisation” to proceed, with BPC having applied for such approval from April 2018.
Ie long way off any EA approval so unlikely to be drilling anytime soon. Huge risk for any major or farm in partner
IMO it sounds like major walked due to data not being accurate enough (hence article states they have had to do more), and until EA approval, which has been a year already with no update ever given, it will be another year at least for that, they hey presto we are back again with having to renew the drilling license
And rinse and repeat. Little chance of bpc ever drilling, huge costs which they could never do themselves, lack of interest in farm in so far, running out of cash within (likely) weeks or couple months, no EA permit to drill
Can’t see what’s to like here at this stage, feels very much the herd rising this and Potter will now assist until he needs more cash. Be careful
