Investors may be avoiding a restaurant sector tech app for fear of a second wave, but what the market hasn't realised yet is that the BigDish service has been hedged to succeed whether or not we get a 2nd wave. If we get one, and we're all stuck in another lockdown, then bigdish-to-go will come to the fore. If we don't, then bigdish-to-go will play a smaller role and bookings/dine-in will be the bigger part. Either way, Bigdish is in a good position to help restaurants stay in business.

+classhero, I don't think that number is too important right now. The super-app with all of the new chains is imminent (next few business days).

I make it 186, so no new additions today. Croma in Manchester (4x restaurants) disappeared on Friday afternoon + one other

Yep, I was ignoring pizza hut. Without them, I still think we'll be at new highs (restaurant numbers) by early Sept.

Looks like many of the restaurants are brand new on the SaaS platform.

Some highlights:
The Italian Job, a new group of 3 restaurants in London
Croma, a new chain of 4 in Manchester

We're clearly not just reactivating past sign-ups (approx 50/50 new vs reactivation). This means daily additions will continue to motor as we approach and surpass the previous peak of 621. This should happen within a few weeks at the rate they're being added.
