Hi All. According to the BIS gold is a tier one asset and as such can be accepted as money. When banks/financiers take on risk that risk is covered by asset value and that value is taken as collateral to cover the loan. With our expert BODs i see no reason why banks will not accept the fact that the gold will be mined and sold to repay the debt. As far i i am concerned there is no problem whatsoever in finance being available for a well structured deal. ATB Speedy

We are no where near the ATL as stated by Worker2 and MH is correct in his statement " market is undecided on how to value GGP" I am confident that SD will achieve his goal in buying back the farm. The problem is that the market is undecided on how to value GGP. Newmont want to sell and GGP want to buy so somewhere down the line fair market value must be decided. The data to take into consideration will be time sensitive and potential can not be included (up to a point). We have, according to the data approx 8.5 mill ozs gold equivalent so the valuation must be assessed on that at todays POG. The gamble for SD and us is in the potential and i personally heard him say the potential is for 20mill ozs (but keep that under your hat). The other factor to take into consideration is the potential POG. I am of the opinion that todays market cap is a good starting point (for GGP) to work out fair market value for the 70%.

We are where we are as far as the SP goes due to that uncertainty and will stay in that range until the details of the deal are announced. ATB Speedy

Hi Bluetoff. £2k/oz is only approx 5% rise from here. If the COMEX takes a days off we could see that POG mid next week. The events to cause that has and continues to happen as we speak. The biggie is when the criminal banks give up and let it run but short term is central bank purchases and eastern / BRICS institutions and citizens loading up. My target this year is $3k/oz and the way the POG is acting it is perfectly possible. ATB Speedy

Hi All. Working out what investment is worth buying is a nightmare. Some rely on others, some rely on charts, some toss a coin but the real winners are the ones that use fundamentals and lots and lots of research. I have been researching the gold space for in excess of 50 years and all pointers are for a much much higher POG. I have invested in GGP because of the leverage effect miners achieve, with costs staying reasonably level and the asset value rising. There are risks involved in mining so nothing is guaranteed but GGP has a market cap and fundamentals that screams out "BIG PROFITS COMING" ATB Speedy

Hi All. The battle for control is on, with the COMEX trying to keep it below $2500/oz. The last 3 USA sessions have seen the price go from $2530 down to $2470. There is no technical reason to defend $2500 it is just psychological attempt to deter buyers at these levels. Having thrown the kitchen sink at it now they are throwing the whole kitchen. This attempt will fail and will see new ATHs in short order. ATB Speedy
