Hi All There are many "experts" out there saying that gold/silver have topped and will fall. This is absolute nonsense. Bond yields are rising everywhere. Govs are trying to lower interest rates against ever increasing inflation. Treasury budgets are under extreme pressure with the only way to balance the books for defence spending is the creation of more debt. Major economies are facing recession and welfare payments are expected to rise, more creation of debt to cover shortfalls. The outlook is very bleak for the stock market with the bear raising its head.

Being in the correct sector for the coming turn down is essential for wealth preservation/creation. We are looking at the biggest bubble in history starting to pop. The rush into the PMs sector will be massive. There are huge amounts of funds looking for a safe place and the PMs sector market cap is tiny compared to the overall markets. When large amount of money chases a small amount of assets the only way is to quench that demand with much, much, much, higher prices.

The outlook for the PM sector is very good but this is not good news for the world. ATB Speedy

I spend many, many, hours scouring reports from around the globe to help me in my decision making. Gold is on a one way trajectory to a higher price. Bonds are starting to lose favor and the great USA dollar is under pressure from all angles as is all fiat. With talk of WW3 and trade wars expanding along with mostly useless leaders and growth around the globe faltering, the one and only way out is creating funds out of thin air causing hyperinflation.

Hi Doublehun. The only sensible reason for a gold rerate is to facilitate trade between nations. At the present POG there is not enough to back a new currency to any meaningful measure. Talk of the USA rerating gold to boost their balance sheet is just accounting wizardry. ATB Speedy

Hi all I have always stated that i prefer dilution as opposed to debt. We could have borrowed the money but then the banks would be in charge and a fair old chunk of our profits go in servicing that debt. With dilution we financed the deal and with no debt the recovery from that dilution will be fast. I am of the opinion that the 4.8p was a bit low.

We are now in the enviable position of being a producer with no debt and an increasing level of income. If Carlsberg did deals. ATB Speedy

Hi jackodlad. Bonds rule the financial world, the fed knows this and continues to purchase at an ever increasing rate and forces flows into treasuries by any means possible. If the fed stopped buying, the interest on treasuries would be in double figs. How much interest would you want to hold them? ATB Speedy

Hi All. Price drivers for gold are many. The Ukraine affair is just a small part. The biggest factor by a country mile is the ability of central banks to create fiat out of thin air. This allows govs to spend beyond their means and go to war.
