Hi All. I see some posters moaning about gold discussions. GGP are in the gold game, the POG affects our SP. There have been massive purchases over the last few years of physical gold by retail investors, HNW individuals and central banks. As more physical gold is purchased and held long term this has put upward pressure on the POG and our SP. My expertise is in the physical gold market and i freely share this knowledge with all readers of the board as do many others with their particular knowledge. That is what makes this BB so great. Hi LTinv. Basel 111 will be/ is a game changer, the commercials/shorters on the COMEX will use every trick in the book to close as many positions as possible before the new regs come into play. I expect extreme volatility in the POG with $100 daily swings. Eventually they will have to close and a short squeeze will ensue. This event is not before time, 2021 should see the POG reflect the state of the global economy. I am not in a position to say what that price will be but 20+ years of suppression should see a massive spike and overshoot. ATB Speedy

Hi All. Do not get too excited over the rise just yet. We need to see $1920 hold for the week, if it does, next stop $2000. The shorters will be squirming today and the COT report next Friday will show if they have capitulated or are prepared to throw more $s down the drain. I personally think they will try to push it back below $1900. To give in now and accept massive losses on their short position will hurt too much. Over the last 20 years they have had massive profits from trading but their present position will see them lose most of that. ATB Speedy

Hi LTinv. I am not an economist and i think there are too many unknowns to make a valid opinion. What i do know is that we are all entering uncharted waters and it makes sense to stay positive but plan for the worst. My plan is to hold hard assets (gold, agricultural land) and surround myself with good friends and family. We are heading for massive profits with GGP and i do not intend to squander it all on fast living, lose women and booze, just some of it. ATB Speedy

Hi Bancal. All silver (bars,jewelry, coins, Etc) attract VAT. The silver Brit you purchased had the VAT priced into the retail value. There is no such thing as VAT free silver if purchased in the UK. It is possible to purchase VAT and CGT free silver Brits coins when stored in a bonded store with VAT being applied when or if you take delivery. ATB Speedy

Hi TomE. Please be extremely careful. I find it best to store coins at place of purchase, no break in the good delivery supply chain and storage with insurance is very inexpensive. ATB Speedy

Hi TomE. Brits and Sovs are very liquid assets. Thousands of dealers up and down the country will buy them and they will fetch spot price or a small premium. ATB Speedy
