Our gov find it impossible to stop the sale of class a drugs what chance would they have of stopping deals in real money, gold. Hi Bancal. Of all the people in the gold space Sprott is one that can be trusted. It is possible to redeem units for physical delivery but only in multiples of a good London delivery bar approx 400ozs, fractions are only redeemable for cash. I am not sure how this fits in with a SIPP as it is not possible to withdraw funds until a certain age, i should imagine the gold bar, if redeemed, would be in the custody of the SIPP provider. My i suggest contacting Jushua Saul @ The Pure Gold Co. Tel 020 8138 0753. He is a wealth of info on the matter of gold/silver in a SIPP. I do know that Britannias are not allowed in a SIPP. Hi LTinv. These are not normal times. Normally stocks fall, gold rises and vice versa. At the moment the POG is being heavily suppressed( will not last) also gold rises when currencies are devalued (no one can deny that currencies are being devalued), so i see the POG rising in a falling or rising equities market These are the reasons for my bullishness on PMs. Oh and it looks pretty. LTinv. It is always good to hear other opinions and look at ways of protecting and increasing wealth. When the PM price manipulation ends (and it must) there will be a significant gain for holders of physical gold as well as store of wealth. When the brown stuff hits the fan all the cash raised from sold down stocks, bonds, property etc will be looking for a home ( commodities, agricultural land, new cars etc. As the spending power of £s $s decreases there will be a rush to spend. Hi Droverman. The LBMA are there to provide physical liquidity to the market. Their position is untenable and it will fail as did the London gold pool. I strongly urge investors to cash up their ETF positions and purchase real gold, the in the hand physical stuff. Best way to do that as a UK citizen is with gold Britannias, get them soon or miss out on these historically (compared to FIAT in circulation) low prices. I have seen many estimates for the true POG and a fair value would be in excess of $10k/oz. If all the HNW individuals wanted real money (gold) there would not be any where near enough to go around. The only way to meet demand would be via a much higher price. Load up while you can. ATB Speedy

Hi Teo. I have just checked up on the pre paid card and you are right, it is to be discontinued as of 31 Jan. This is a serious mistake by Goldmoney and i will be cancelling my holdings as soon as pos. I use the card for overseas travel and have not used it this year and was not aware of this change, i apologize for giving false info, this was unintentional. Hi Bamps. Hydrogen fuel cells are the way forward. Its all about energy storage, oil, coal, batteries or hydrogen are all the same and just a store of energy. Record amount of physical deliveries on the COMEX, more than 90tons in DEC and over 780tons in total this year, normally settlement would be in $s but HNW individuals are using COMEX to acquire physical and reserves must be getting very low . Hi Jet. I did not answer your question on the effect on GGP SP. Gold miners are a leveraged bet on the POG, all well managed mining Cos will do extremely well, especially juniors. GGP, GDXJ and royalty Cos will be a good place to be. ATB Speedy

Hi Jet. Think about the coming NFSR changes as a run on a bank. First ones in the queue gets their money out. The shorters on the COMEX will rush to cover their positions leading to a stampede. The new rules will only cover trading in the Euro zone but this will effect all gold markets around the world as they compete for business. Where would you rather trade? Hi All. The POG failed at $1900 again. Normal markets find true value via supply and demand plus sentiment (fear/greed). Unfortunately modern day markets are rigged and distorted by the big boys and price discovery is false. Demand for physical gold is up massively YOY and supply is falling, sentiment is also leaning towards fear. This should all lead to a much higher POG. The paper markets on the COMEX are around 500 paper/1 physical and are a total fraud. The shorters are hurting and it is only a matter of time until they pull out and a short squeeze of biblical proportions will ensue. Eventually true price discovery will return to the PM markets and i can assure you it will be at a much higher price than today.
