Hi All. Still smoke and mirrors at the COMEX. The COT report released Yesterday was reporting positions for 7th Mar. This report is so late it is worthless, positions will have changed dramatically since then. What can be said is the commercial banks have wrong footed the specs. The specs have reduced longs and added to their short position whilst the banks have done the complete opposite. With no upto date info the best guess is that the last week has seen a massive short squeeze in both gold and silver. This rise in the POG/S has a long way to go and ATHs will be taken out in short order. The stupid actions of central banks has now come home to roost and they are now trapped in a no win situation. They can raise rates to "fight" inflation and bust the bond/treasuries holders or drop rates and watch inflation take off to unprecedented levels. There is no easy way out of this mess. You can still buy gold but not for much longer at these silly "relatively" low prices. ATB Speedy

Hi Tymers. That is why i am reluctant to purchase Telfer along with the 70% of Hav, if offered. There is a possibility of 3 tier 1 mines at Hav with a total of 50mill ozs (my opinion only). The trucking to Telfer and decommissioning costs make the prospect of a new centralized processing plant more financially viable. ATB Speedy

Hi All. A few weeks ago i posted about the coming bank crisis. I said that because banks have been wrong footed by rising rates, falling yields and massive non performing loans. The recent fall of several banks has highlighted this issue. These banks are insignificant in the grand scheme of things but there are a couple more in trouble that could rock the market to its knees, Credit Suisse and the great Deutsch Bank could bring the whole lot down. It looks like CS will be the next to go and could be the catalyst for a massive lift in the POG/S.
Regulators have a scheme in place that protects depositors from bank defaults to make you feel secure, how comforting.
Holding physical gold will defend you against the coming mayhem. ATB Speedy
