Decent opening but u.s. futures showing red at the moment so no doubt IAG will follow that. I'm gonna hang on until later on and see how the price action goes.

Thanks longterm. One thing I've learnt reading boards like these is take both sides into account, do your own research then make a decision. The info you gave when this was at £3.60 saved me a fortune. I eventually sold out at £3.24 seeing how it was dropping from it's high. I will now get back in before ex-div date. But we'll see how china and u.s. get on with their tariffs.

Johnbriggs - IAGLongterm gave educated information on his views on trumps tariffs. I took his opinion, done my own homework, watched the price action everyday then made a decision. So no not a gamble. I bet you wish you did the same and listened to him. You could have bought back in cheaper aswell.

Johnbriggs - say what you like but in the end you called this share wrong and Longterm called it right. I'm not an alias of Longterm. Even I have argued with him in previous posts but when someone is right i am more than willing to admit i was wrong. In this case I'm glad i listened to what he was saying and saved myself a fortune.

Don't worry too much folks. Trump will feel the increased backlash from his own people and supporters as they watch their pension funds drop, job losses, increased prices for everything. These tariffs will last no more than a year max. Negotiations will happen and they will get resolved.

I'm glad it went down cos i sold out at 3.24 and bought back in friday just gone at 2.81. Sooner or later this will be £4.50 at least and a lot of you will be kicking yourselves for not buying in.

John briggs you're in the wrong. The price action suggests anyone could have sold and bought in a lot cheaper.

Market is an absolute s**t show at the moment. Better to sell now and come back in at a lower price.

Trade war is just getting started and ukraine/russia isn't stopping anytime soon.

Well on the bright side the buybacks starting tomorrow will be cheaper for IAG, could even be a green day, lets see.

As much as i like Trump it would be great if he stopped threatening tariffs every 5 seconds creating market volatility.

Ukraine/Russia war will end soon, oil is dropping further, israel/palestine hopefully ends smoothly. Lots more to look forward to.
