It does not surprise me that PFC has made significant progress in Oman, when visiting with them a little while ago it is clear that PDO has immense respect for PFC from the top down. Despite the witch hunt by the SFO I expect the company to in due course win substantial new contracts which will dwarf the £400m market cap.

Miles, in the last week PFC has won an enhanced contract with Ineos, managed to secure £300 mil in liquidity through the Covid Corporate Financing Facility and won two new contracts worth $300 mil. What else does a company have to do to show it's shareholders they are working their asses off to get back on track haha.

Miles, worst comes to worst PFC can always do a rights issue, I know as existing share holders it's not what we want to hear but the option is there. But will PFC go under, no chance. Don't forget also the covid corporate financing facility is only given to companies with good credit ratings, if the Bank of England lending facility had any worries they would not have let PFC use this facility.

Share price is shooting up at this very moment, words gotten out about the RNS haha

Turning to the oil and gas sector, Petrofac (LSE: PFC) is another UK share I’d avoid. It’s currently the fifth most shorted stock in the UK, according to shorttracker.co.uk, with 7.9% short interest.

It’s quite obvious why this stock is being targeted. Currently, Petrofac is being investigated by the Serious Fraud Office in relation to bribery allegations associated with three historic contract awards in the UAE in 2013 and 2014.

"Last week, Petrofac announced that a subsidiary employee has admitted additional charges under the UK Bribery Act 2010. This resulted in the company’s share price crashing more than 30%. Clearly, the hedge funds believe there’s more downside on the cards here. I’d steer clear."

No worries trend, I really think this share will be near £4 by the end of this year. If you look at the 5 years pre-covid it was a nice steady climb all the way to £4.70. I reckon if covid didn't happen this share would be sitting around the £5.50 mark right now. I've held this stock since it was around the £1.46 mark, so you can imagine how happy I am right now :)

Found this article explaining that Joe Biden will invest $20 billion in the transit industry. National Express has transit services across the U.S. so a bit of a boost there.

The biggest factor that will make National Express shares jump would be the re-opening of schools in the U.S. which is also a priority for Biden.

Considering a lot of us got shares yesterday or Monday around the 115p/120p mark, 230p doesn't sound too bad, still double your money.

To be perfectly honest I am looking at it like this. Last week the share price was hitting £1.70, today I bought in at £1.15, bargain and a half. The share price might still drop but I'm more than happy. Ok the SFO might still be investigating PFC, but I reckon they'll be lenient as no current board members have been involved. Even if the SFO give PFC a hefty fine they're not gonna demand it all in one go, it will be paid out over time in manageable amounts.

I agree with darthtrader74, if the share price was going to drop it would have dropped yesterday as the suspension of coach services was announced before the market opened. You have to remember that National Express has worldwide operations, the U.K. coach operations is a part of it. The biggest being student transportation in North America followed by urban bus transport.

The U.K. just approved the Moderna vaccine aswell making it the third approved vaccine. I just cannot see this share price heading anywhere but up now. The only thing that will make this and other travel stocks nose dive now is if the vaccines don't work against certain strains of the virus.

Looking at the graph in the link I think back2black meant 2.42p, not £2.42. If it did hit £2.42 then my initial £5000 investment would be worth just over £1 million, now wouldn't that be something haha
