I'm still crossing everything, I might watch the Venues event trouble is it's at 3 30am UK time
If it gets anymore "stable" it'll be at 10p :-(
I've no great hopes as I would have thought that they would have Tweeted about it, but you never know, I've got everything crossed.
Whatshares MVR being integrated with Venues would certainly have very positive effect on the sp
The first Oculus Venues show will be a performance by Vance Joy, in partnership with AEG. On the MVR Twitter page it appears that MVR are recording at the Red Rocks concert (note the cameras in the shot) I know it's a bit of a hope but - - - - - - - - - ?
If MVR isn't providing content for Venues I would like to know just what Facebook has done for us ? In my opinion "nothing" and the total lack of news or MVR promotion is driving the sp in one direction.
Has been added at last. not a huge amount but anything is at least a step in the right direction.
This sentence caught my attention, "Our principal operational focus for the period under review has been to further refine and hone its technology platform in preparation for the forthcoming launch of the MelodyVR product." To me this means that MVR has yet to formally launch.
Without news, quite possibly.
Am I not correct in believing that MVR record in 8k but the Oculus Go can only support a maximum of 6k ?
I disagree, MVR need to be able to keep people coming back to purchase fresh material and at the moment it's stagnant. I would have thought they would drip feed on a regular basis.
I'm hoping (with everything crossed) that MVR will play a big part in venues.
I think you can forget live concerts until the app is available across all platforms, MVR will want to maximize its audience figures.
I don't believe that EVRH give a toss about the sp, they're only interested in building the MVR brand.
The sp for MVR is driven by news, there's no financial history and we don't have trend figures for the take up of the app. I've faith in the company strategy for promoting the MVR concept. It's early days, there will be ups and downs along the way. GLA
Would it be to much of a leap of the imagination to think that MVR will be the music hosts for live concerts within venues ? To date MVR has had no support from Facebook or Oculus (unless I've missed something) so what's the NDA in aid of unless it's something yet to be announced ?
I quite agree, aren't we adult enough to evaluate all points of view, positive, negative and everything inbetween? As a LTH have my own opinion as to where MVR is and where its future lies GLA
BrownAdder did you download a track to watch ? the result is the same as MVRs offerings except there's no "jump spots" Josh8 It's downloaded
After getting fed up with waiting for more content on MVR I found a set by Joan Jet and the Black Hearts on the Oculus app, according to the titling it was recorded in 2015. It's free and very well done plus the quality is very good if not better than MVRs. Please note Mr Matchett.
As there's no financial history MVRs sp is entirely news driven, an announcement of a live event by a top band or performer would send it skywards. I don't expect any live gigs anytime soon as there's not been a release on the full range of headsets or made available in a greater number of countries in order to generate a decent revenue.
