No one forced you to buy shares. buying penny stocks and AIM shares is very very risky. I would imagine that all the CEO's of AIM stocks get paid and imagine they all say what ever the company is doing that things are going great and there is exciting news and whatever happened, is happening or will happen is very positive.

Reality check any company which does not have a source of positive revenue has to issue shares which means pre existing shares will have a reduced % ownership (ie dilution). If you do not want this to occur to you then you should only invest in companies which are already cash flow positive.

this implies it was under control and would not cause any future problems.

So what is the current situation on the ground? Are their active attempts to take the resource? either legally or illegally?

It is important that it was stopped. On site security even if unarmed does prevent some or most illegal activity. Even banks with armed security can not prevent robbers. it happens. the key is make it difficult.
