I still believe the reward outweighs the risk but AB/RRR makes this riskier than it should be.
Since the onset of the Congo issue AB has believed that cash from Congo was 'imminent" which is fine but risk was increased when they began making cash commitments (new properties) as if that cash was actually in hand. Thus when cash was not received as expected RRR had to turn to the markets to raise that cash increasing dilution. Now in theory that dilution can be added to the ultimate damage claim at the international level but that is a different level risk than what we are now facing in Congo
Of course the opposing side in Congo sees how much cash RRR is spending which is one more factor they take into consideration while they delay events in Congo
I agree that Geocamines must have signicant power and influence. Yet RRR was able to get a court judgement. No doubt they could be using their influence to delay the arbitration award.
This boils down to issue of corruption and does the President of Congo want to reduce corruption has he has publicly stated. These are large amounts of money in a very poor country. People disappear over much smaller amounts. The personal risk for RRR people in country would be substantial.
TheeDuke- on rollover wouldnt the accrued (unpaid) interest also be rolled over into a new note thus getting compound interest either way a good deal for the note holder and much better than keeping money in a savings account or CD
TD please expand upon your comment. So, if having Beamont Cornish as a NOMAD for RRR is a major red flag why did you invest in RRR? Did you just ignore your own red flag?
"with ALR what matters is the contained lithium in the acreage"11 Jul 2023 14:45
Helpful-If I had an % of ALR what would matter the most is cash flow. ALR has a lot to do to measure the contained lithium in the acreage. The prior plan was similar to a quarrying operation, mine what could be seen and then sell it.
Your analysis is based on a faulty premise that there is lithium everywhere. FYI it isnt
When did RRR/AB say they were working on projections? sorry bit lazy today, so I did not look up.
I thought AB said 2-3 weeks. A lot of RRR's problems with disgruntled shareholders are self inflicted By that I mean expectations are set and then not achieved but with no explanation. There is no sense of management just hopping around .
I realize there are too many projects but even in fighting a fire(s) there should be a plan
