The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
I've never understood the logic in going on to another BB to discredit other peoples' investment. On here today we have SheerClass (a holder of NCYT), while on NCYT we have CaptainStanley (a holder of AVCT). No offence guys, but do you seriously believe that your posts will have any effect whatsoever on the SP of the company in which you are not invested.
Why not show a bit of decency and class, and hope that your mutual investments perform well. There is room for far more than one company to have success in the fight against Covid-19. Life is too short...and quite frankly, investors on here and on NCYT will most likely have no interest in your opinions on the investments.
Despite the reasonably strong finish last night, it would seem that tactic 1. this morning is to immediately sting those with no will to hold. Might be a short lived opportunity to pick up a few more at lower prices...might grab a few more while I can. Managed another £5k at £1.73 yesterday and was happy with that, so let's see what today brings for my remaining £3k spare funds.
I see it as an opportunity to buy more. Tried for £5k and it took ten minutes and had to split into £2.5k, £1.5k and £1k but delighted to get the first lot at £1.8199 (1373 shares). Now added 8-9 times all the way from 60p upwards

BBC just now: Nick Han******* saying they are aiming for a 24 hour turnaround from point of testing to results. Wow, that seems great, but wouldn't 10-15 minted be far better. Mind blowing news from AVCT would be more than a game changer
@5m1ffy, I think that you'll find that many of those you are speaking of will actually still be holding BMN regardless of what they have invested elsewhere...I know that I am. Reducing your BMN holding by a small % in order to hopefully take advantage of an opportunity elsewhere will hopefully pay dividends for all concerned.
If the SP rises in the meantime, then so be it...I know that I have still got more than 1 million of these to ensure that i don't miss out on what I have been invested for over 6 years for.....many others that I know of are exactly the same. If things go well elsewhere then i'll be hoping to add another 200k-250k to that total...the SP will determine the amount.
To be quite frank, I don't think that investing in other stocks is what has made some previously frequent posters to be absent....I suspect it may have to do with being cheesed of with the arrival of certain repetitive, disruptive posters whose sole aim is to clutter the board with nonsense. Admin seem to have upped their game considerably against this sort of event, so you may find that a few of the previous regulars will return in due course.
I am currently not in CCL, DTG, IAG or other T&L shares, but for those that are, the news that will appear very soon regarding antigen tests will change everything. (remove the spaces in link). This is not a plug. I'm hoping it will help T&L investors with their decisions. I'm getting back into Ccl and DTG today.

Totally agreed Raz10.
I guess that admin are aware of the level of annoyance that this and other certain individuals cause amongst many very longterm posters....hence this board has now, hopefully temporarily become rather quiet.
What was without the best BB by far, the BMN LSE board was attacked by trouble makers...many of whom used the disguise of giving a contrary view, when in fact they had their own sinister agenda.
I'd hope and expect that if Admin continue to act accordingly and eliminate the problem that has taken such a we'll researched and respected BB from being a hive of activity to a very quiet chatroom, then you'll find many well respected posters return in due course.
