30% of your portfolio? Have you no faith in RRE? Only joking. I'm in a lot heavier here - approx 80%. Yes I know many will criticise that but my reasoning is that the investment is pretty much as safe as it can get given my shares are likely more than backed up by unrestricted cash in the bank. And given the potential for further acquisition the money I have here could bag overnight at any point. It seems about as safe as 'gambling' gets - to me anyway. I shift money to other shares for shorter trades but always pile any free funds back in here.

Must admit to getting a bit twitchy at not getting further flow data from Coho yet after the pressure build test but then reread the link below where Paul said they expect results 'this side of Christmas'. I wasn't thinking it may take as long as that. Back to waiting patiently.

I think so. They seem keen for shares. Just did a dummy sell and they seem happy to take as many as I want to sell for 14.8p. They're not having them though!

Too uncertain for me at present given we are all simply speculating as to reasons Equinor didn't take up their option. Too speculative for me now so sold my small stake here and added yet more RRE to make me even more top heavy in them! Good luck all.

I think something is up with JOG today. I did a small topup about 8:20 this morning and my buy still doesn't show. Think they've been naughty and delaying publishing buys to fill an order or something?

It is not entirely inconceivable that if CCS DOES take off that comapnies like RRE might actually get paid to capture carbon as opposed to decom costs. I have a background in Marine Biology/EIA and would think it likely that in many cases the environmental impact of decommissioning would be greater than leaving much of the stuff in situ. Particularly given that such artificial reef habitat as rigs provide will, after many years service, now have an associated ecosystem living on and around it.

Maybe Cavendish have a big sell order in to finally get them to where they need to be? Would be nice to clear their drag.

If they really suspected Cavendush were going to sell si heavily and drag the price down then wouldn't the directors have waited for the dust to settle before buying themselves?

Possibly a numpty question but is it not possible for Rockrose to ask Cavendish how many they want to offload and then simply buy them back? It's getting silly value here now surely.

Yes it was a buy but reported as a sell as I think the majority of trades were after 4pm. This doesn't feel like a P&D to me but we will see early next week.
