Not so sure the wall of cash is as far away as you might think Camglen. Surely if ngc want all the gas from TXP and are about to sign a contract for supply then they must be confident demand will be there. I just found out recently that 100% of Trinidad’s electricity comes from gas.

Target for spud was July yes. In a recent interview he said they hoped to spud Chinook by end July. So yeah a couple weeks out but at least it's on its way now. 40 days drilling apparently.

I agree with all your points smasher. It's just that a poster on the other board seems to be in touch with company fairly regularly and was advised last week spud was delayed due to soggy site, would be spudded last weekend and announced in rns. I think there must be some Chinese whispers going on.

I hope you are right smasher that Chinook is well on its way. A poster on another board has apparently been advised that they will rns when Chinook has been spudded. However I think it must have already been done given that rig has been on site around 3 weeks now. That's a lot of wasted money on rig hire if it's sitting there idle.

I don't think many here would be happy being taken out at £1.50 given future potential here. Hope it doesn't happen for a few years and a few more successful drills!

Yes Coho is separate from ngc deal but I think Camglen is correct that last we heard from Paul they were still waiting for some approvals for pipeline? Perhaps they already have them and work has begun?

With the spread printed at 74/71 it means all the buys are being marked as sells. Suspect it's being done for a reason - perhaps because there is a big buy order trying to get filled?

Don't be fooled into thinking all the red trades are sells. I know for sure that they are not as I've bought a few today and showing as sells.

Just listened to latest Directors Talk interview and Paul said hopefully will have something on the NGC contract by the end of the summer and asked investors for patience on it but said it's going very well. So sounds like not extremely imminent.

Agree 100% Simon. Suspect that Paul is looking for more like a £5+ buyout for his retirement in a few years time given he holds only about 1m share and has a salary circa £500k.

Interesting thoughts and video thanks Dana. Agree re relatively small number of shares held by board so can't see them going for a low ball offer. I don't think too many PI's here and elsewhere would be overly thrilled with a takeover sub £2. I'm wondering if we'll see some larger Director buys as soon as they are able but with so much news forthcoming I'm not sure when they may be able outside a closed period.

Regarding the condensates Gamflin I agree that they appear to have been remarkably overlooked and little commented on. Do you think the NGC contract will cover condensates as well or do you think it will be purely for the gas and TXP will have to find another route to market for condensates?
